Miraculous Ladybug: Reality

Ch 8.5: A Chat

"Hey."

Everyone in the room froze at the voice, knowing full well who it is. But no one dared to turn towards him, not even the kwamis.

"We really should talk, Marinette Dupain-Cheng..."

"CLAWS OUT!" Adrien said and transformed. He leapt at Reality. "CATACLYSM!"

Cat Noir attempted to used cataclysm on Reality, however, the villain teleported and Cat Noir hit the poster stand that held the photos of Adrien, Luka and some pictures of Marinette's friends and her memories with them.

"A cataclysm right off the bat? Surely you know that it doesn't work on me?" Reality boasted.

Everyone transformed when they saw Reality standing in front of of the circular window. The villain suddenly had a green shield around him, preventing him from escaping.

"Carapace. You are quite fast."

"You won't escape us. You are going down here and now."

"Are you deaf? No attack works against Reality," Reality chuckled, "But you misunderstand. I am merely here to talk."

"What do you want, Reality? Our miraculous? You are a fool if you think you can just come in here while our whole team is assembled and ready to fight. Face it, you are outnumbered," Ladybug said, walking out from the circle of friends.

"That may be, but on the contrary. I am no fool. If I was, I would have already used my power. Instead, I only wanted to talk, hence why I am doing nothing to provoke any of you..."

"Venom!" Vesperia (Zoé) shouted and a yellow and black ball appeared in her right hand with a thorn on the end, like a bee stinger. She wasn't going to use it, but got it out just in case.

"We have nothing to talk about, Reality. All we want to do is help deakumatize you. You are a victim of Shadow Moth. He is using you to get what he wants," Ladybug said.

"Hmm, if that was true, then how come I haven't done any moves to attack you yet? Besides, you are using your friends as your little army against me, so who is using who?" Reality spat back.

"We weren't forced into it. We had a choice to back down from this team, but we didn't, because Ladybug has saved us all at one point or another. This is our chance to to repay both her and Cat Noir!" Viperion (Luka) corrected.

"That's right, we all stand by her side to the very end," Rena Rouge nodded.

"Reality, you are not going to get our miraculous. Try as you might, but Shadow Moth is a villain we've beaten time and time again. This won't be any different," Cat Noir said, jumping down from Marinette's bed.

"Beaten him? Hmhm... Shadow Moth was right, your sense of humor is dull. If you have truly beaten him over and over, then why am I standing here in front of you. I am the living proof that you will never be able to defeat him."

"That doesn't stop us from trying and having hope we will succeed," Vesperia noted.

"Hope...?"

"Just what are you plotting? You are not like the other akumatized villains. You act according to your own desire, otherwise you would be thirsty for revenge against the one who wronged you," Ladybug asked.

"My plan is none of your concern for now. Just know that if all goes well, all people living on this earth will be united. A world of only love and peace will exist."
