Ch 8: Team Is Assembled

Reality walked in the sewers, his head looking at the ground with a frown on his face. He was angry that he got tricked by Rena.

"I told you, you need to be careful. Rena is now an official part of the team. She may not appear all the time, but she is there," Shadow Moth scolded.

That didn't help calm Reality's mind. It only made him angrier. Shadow Moth inderectly called him a fool for failing.

"But... Now that we know Ladybug's identity, this will make things a whole lot easier. So, you didn't completely mess up."

"It won't... Ladybug will make a plan, I'm sure of it. If you know her identity, then she would have no reason to hide it from her partner, considering it would come out eventually anyway. But no need for concern. I will get their miraculous if it's the last thing I do... I am done playing a game!" Reality exclaimed.

He vanished into thin air, teleporting away onto the surface. He needed a plan this time. Or, he could force Ladybug to give up her miraculous. One way to do that was to put everyone in danger at once. That, or he could just infiltrate her home and steal the Miracle Box.

"No, I can not do that. She knows I know her identity. So she probably has other heroes guarding the box with her. As powerful as I am, I am still not strong enough to take on all the heroes at once. At least not yet... Getting a hold at least some of their miraculous' should be enough."

Marinette's house, 9:20pm

"All right, so, now that we are all here, I think we owe you an explanation," Marinette said and looked at the many people around her room as she herself stood in the center.

"What's with the sudden call for, dudette?" Nino asked.

Marinette looked around at everyone. Everyone was confused except for Alya and Adrien. Marinette looked at the two, hoping for some form of encouragment. All she got were smiles. But that was enough.

With a deep breath, she said: "Tikki, spots on."

Marinette transformed in front of everyone. Ladybug stood there, seeing everyone's shocked and in awe expressions.

"Y-y-you-you're..." Rose began.

"Ladybug..." Luka finished.

"Yes. I'm sorry for keeping this a secret from you. But there were protocols to being a superhero. That changes today. I called all of you here because at one point or another, you all have owned a miraculous."

"And what about Cat Noir? Where is he?" Luka asked.

"Right here," Adrien said as Plagg flew to his shoulder and ate his cheese.

"Whoa, wait, it was you the whole time??" Nino exlaimed louder than intended.

"Yeah. Just what Ladybug said, we're sorey for keeping it a secret."

"I just can't believe! My best friend is Cat Noir!"

Ladybug clapped her hands to catch everyone's attention. While she was happy that her friends were smiling and laughing, this was not the right time for banter.

"Guys, guys! Focus, please! I wish this reveal would have been under better circumstances, but it's not. The reason I called all of you here is because I... We need your help. Paris is in danger. Normally, Cat and I would be able to handle it, but this is no ordinary threat. This akuma is far worse than any other before it. He calls himself Reality. And he is powerful. Too powerful for just the two of us."

Ladybug walked up to a box and opened it. It was seemingly a box contaning many colors of thread. But she pushed a certain combination and it revealed a secret compartment. Am oval shaped, ladybug themed box. She set it down in the middle of the room and sat on her knees.
