Ch 19: Up Ladybug!

Note: Ever since seeing the Ladybug PV video on YouTube, I became a huge fan of it and am kinda sad that it never was made real. So, I decided to include Bridgette in this. Hence why she is here. Anyway, enjoy. Also, I wanted to try to put a song in here. Hoping it goes well.

Bridgette looked at herself in the mirror, amazed at the outfit she got. It didn't look that different from Marinette's. The spots were all there, but what made her different was the longer hair and the longer hair ribbons. Her mask didn't have any spots on it.

"Whoa... This is so cool! Is this what Mari always feels when transforming?" she thought out loud.

She had been so distracted with her new look, she totally forgot about the task at hand.

"Umm... So what do I do now...?" she thought. As if to answer her own question, she heard police sirens driving by the house.

On the computer screen, the news channel was running, showing the events that were occuring.

"Don't be bemused, it's just the news! I'm Nadja Chamack with the most recent news. Terror is going all over Paris with the supervillain named Reality at the center. There is no sign of Ladybug or Cat Noir anywhere. Stay tuned for more updates."

"Spots off!" Bridgette commanded and turned back to normal.

"What's wrong, Bridgette?" Tikki wondered, confused.

"I can't let Reality know there is already a new Ladybug. I'm going there to see if I can think of a plan."

Before Tikki could protest, Bridgette grabbed her and put the kwami into her pocket and ran out of the appartment.

Tuileries Garden

People were screaming in horror, running for their lives. Police were aiming their guns at the supervillain, hoping to hold him back or stop him, but he was just invulnerable to every single bullet.

"No reason to resist. Your saviour is no more..." Reality said in a low and dark tone before shooting a lazer at the police officers, knocking them back.

Bridgette arrived on the scene a second later, trying to keep hidden. Seeing Reality so close to her was just... Terrifying. She could feel the energy emiting from him. That power, that aura...

"I can feel your terror, girl. The fear and doubt..." Reality spoke.

Bridgette couldn't move. Maybe coming here while in civilian form was not such a good idea after all. She was shaking in her boots. Why was she afraid all of a sudden? At first she was so confident on coming here, yet now she could barely move a muscle.

"So much destruction... W-what is going on...?" she quietly spoke.

Another lazer was fired over the field, which knocked Bridgette back a little bit, but she got back on her feet and tried to sneak away.

"I can taste your terror, kid. That fear and doubt." Reality spoke and turned to her. Bridgette froze, not daring to move. Slowly, she turned around to face him.

"Delicious..." Reality muttered and fired a sphere at her feet, which knocked her down.

"Give into that fear. Flee screaming and I'll let you live." Reality taunted and began to laugh at her. Bridgette used the oppurtunity to run away.

"I can't do this, I can't, I can't, I can't!" she repeated.

"What happened, Bridgette!?" Tikki asked in worry.

"I can't do this Tikki! I'm scared!" Bridgette replied and hid in an alleyway, far away from Reality.

"You need to transform. If you were to get hit without your suit, you would have been done for!" Tikki assured.
