I opened by eyes to a blurry sight of the orange sky and white, dull clouds. Nothing was clear. I still heard people running and screaming, and saw people running away frantically. There were more loud explosions. Bombs. Ugh... my ears were ringing so much. I couldn't even move. I felt liquid running down from my mouth, to where it was dripping off my chin. I was laying on my back. I felt the wet, red stained grass below me. It was hurting my back.. My head hurt so much. I felt more blood gushing out of my cracked head. A gash had been in my head. Suddenly a man popped into my view as I kept my motionless, limp body still as can be... all while still emotionlessly staring at the musky sky that had a dull orange hue to it like I'd mentioned before. "HEY, YOU ALIVE, KID?"He was yelling. He was trying to make me hear him over all these frantic screams and loud explosions. I gathered all my strength and turned my head in his direction as I still laid on my back. My weak, limp eyes met his. Then I felt arms around me, and then a swift motion of him throwing me over is shoulder like an injured soldier. He was running. I felt his sharp shoulder blade hitting my weak stomach as he ran up and down. Dead bodies were in my surroundings. What had happened? I was fading in and out of consciousness. Then the light faded.
