*4 Weeks Later*

Manila's bed rest had come to an end, and she had spent the time planning Maya's gender  reveal which was going to be today. Her & Maya had gotten very close, and she was becoming more of a friend than Melanie was- even though her and Melanie had blessed the whole club incident , things were just never the same.

After spending the night with Maya, Cain was still sleeping with her, he was trying to convince himself that he was doing it to protect Thandi - but he had realised how much he was enjoying the thrill of cheating. Distance in his relationship with Thandi had become more apparent, but each time he tried to touch on her, he felt guilty and disgusted with himself. He wanted to do better for her but he didn't know how.

Kara had moved in with Manila & Cain, until the renovations in her new home were complete.  The guilt and fear of not being able to tell her sister about her man'a affair and baby situation was killing her, but she felt like each time she tried to tell her she couldn't. She hasn't been in contact with Malik since their fallout , but Kara has now managed to engulf herself into a web she may not be able to get out of.

Melanie was getting annoyed with her alliance with Maya, as Maya kept trying to avoid going through with the plan- Melanie didn't know that Maya was sleeping with Cain again. Nolan & Thandi had become as close as they used to again , enjoying their secret outings & endless calls & texts with each other- little did they know this was the beginning of their story....

Maya

Today was my gender reveal, I felt so bad as Thandi was the one who planned everything & who was supporting me during my pregnancy. We had become very close due to our pregnancies not being far apart, I knew what I was doing was fucked up- but I was falling for Cain.

"Morning baby." I tried to kiss Cain, as he was half asleep.

"What did I say about the kisses." He kissed his teeth and looked the other way.

Little did the world know that Cain was staying with me, more than he was staying with Manila. He had a major album dropping soon, and would lie to her that he was basically living in the studio- from speaking to her , she seemed to not believe it, it's as if she was over Their relationship and didn't care. That gave me some form of reassurance in what I was doing with him .

"But babeee." I whined.

"Chill out Maya, you know that T is the only one who can kiss me on the lips. This is strictly just sex & me looking out for you and the baby." He stood up & started putting on his clothes.

Each time He reminded me of my position, it always stung me because I knew that Manila was the only one he wanted.

"So are you coming to the gender reveal then?" I looked at him hopefully.

"Of course I am, so T doesn't raise any suspicions. Just don't look at me or do anything weird once the gender is revealed. I'll link you after the event." Before I could even respond, he had left the room & made his way out of my flat.

I guess this was my Life, a whole sidechick.  My parents were already disappointed in me as I was supposed to come to the UK and get my degree in nursing, but instead I chose to be an influencer as the money and lifestyle is what I loved.  I couldn't even tell my parents  that I'm pregnant because they'd be intrigued into knowing who the father is, and I didn't want to stress them- especially since they're all the way in Brazil.

I did my hygiene, and wore the fit that Manila brought for me for this gender reveal. I couldn't help to smile and rub on my bump, I was excited to be a mother, whatever the gender - I knew this baby was going to complete me.
