*Flashback*
Manila and I had just finished school and we decided to play a game of basketball in the communal court behind our flats. We both hurried home to change into our gear, so we could come back outside and play ball.
My feelings for Thandi were growing more and more everyday, I had to make a move before it was too late. I nervously waited for her by the courts, as she was coming in I clocked she was chatting to this Cain guy from the block opposite ours, she had been getting bare comfy with him.
Cain wasn't good news at all, I had clocked Thandi's behaviours changing and I wasn't having it. I wasn't going to let him ruin her innocence that I adored.
"Are you ready for me done your dance boy?" She laughed as she walked towards me.
Even in her gym wear she was looking so good. Manila was a dark beauty, she didn't need all that make up and shit. She was gorgeous. She was just perfect.

After a few rounds of knocking Thandi's ass, we were slumped and sat by the curb to catch our breath.

" I love you Thandi." I quickly blurted, I just couldn't help myself. I had to make my move.

I couldn't help but make my move. I had to show Thandi that I could be the one for her. I slowly moved to her a face , indicating that I was about to kiss her.
I was scared she was going to reject me, but at that moment she responded to my kiss. It was perfect.
After a long session making out, we just held hands as we watched the noisy commotion occurring in our estate.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard Marie's voice.
