I didn't even want to be here in the first place, I only came to this party because Marie was invited and forced me to come. It was a chance for her to show me off to her influencer friends, to make it worse this was her Ex's album release party. She just brought me here to do one upon him.
I was sitting at the bar earlier on and my eyes linked to Thandi. This was her industry, but she seemed so out of it, like she didn't want to be there. I watched as Cain was showing off in their section and Thandi looked helpless, I was just waiting for Cain to leave the section so that I could talk to her. I chuckled and continued to walk. Shit with Marie was long, she knew how to look after a man but she wouldn't stop complaining. She was so into this fame shit, that nothing was never enough for her. We could spend dates night looking at how many followers she gained in a day. I don't know why I was still with her, I just hated being alone.
"Hey T." I smiled as I approached her sitting with Kara.

Thandi and I both laughed.
"I missed you K." I laughed and gave Kara a hug, she didn't even respond she just slumped down on her seat and fell asleep.
