Pulled together (JiraiyaXOc)

A traveling father and daughter?

"MIIIISSSAAAA."

I was starting to regret coming with these two.
I pulled out my copy of Icha Icha and buried my face in it.

"NOT YOU TOO SENSEI."

I ignored Naruto and kept walking.

"You see. She's got good taste all around."

I rolled my eyes at Jiraiya's remark, "I wanted to see what all the hype was about."

I should've just told the truth.
I wanted to support him; even if it was out of the norm for me.

I felt Jiraiya looking over my shoulder, "What page are you on?"

I moved the book out of his sight, "None of your business."

He walked closer so he could whisper in my ear, "If there's anything you want to re-enact in there. Just let me know shorty."

I blushed and pushed him away, "Let me read in peace will you!"

He laughed and walked ahead to fall in stride by Naruto. I couldn't help but glance at them over the top of my book. Watching Jiraiya with Naruto kind of warmed my heart.

"He'd be adorable with a child of his own."

Thoughts of a baby flashed through my mind and I could feel my entire body get hot.

AM I REALLY THINKING ABOUT A CHILD.
AM I INSANE?

I heard a throat clear beside me and I nearly jumped out of my skin.

"Must've got to a steamy part, aye Misa?"

I silently stared at him. If only he knew it was much more embarrassing than that. I closed my book and put it away.

I needed a subject change, "So. Where are we going with Naruto's arm looking like that anyways?"

Jiraiya chuckled, "Why to a hot spring of course! It'll do the kids arm some good."

Naruto butted in, "Yeah, I bet that's not the only reason we're going you pervert!"

I rolled my eyes, "Is he right old man?"

Jiraiya looked like he wanted to curl into a ball and hide. He sounded panicked, "No way! If I were a single man, maybe. But who needs to look at other women when I have you?"

He threw his arm over my shoulder and I could feel the desperation rolling off of him. It was kind of endearing that he'd feel so strongly about not having me worry about wandering eyes.

I giggled and pulled his ear down towards my face, "Checking out other women is completely fine you pervy toad sage," I grabbed his ass, "As long as you're not giving them what's mine."

The poor man looked like he wanted to explode when I released him. I couldn't help but relish in his reaction, "Besides. I'd be lying if I said I didn't let my eyes wander to a pretty lady or two," I winked at him and left him to stumble over himself; while I joined Naruto.

We were currently eating at a cute little place. I sat directly beside Jiraiya; using him as support while I read more of Icha Icha and devoured some dumplings.

The waitress walked up to us and Jiraiya began to speak to her, "I just have to say, the dumplings you serve here are absolutely delicious!"

She had a higher pitched voice than me, "I'm so glad you and your daughter seem to enjoy them so much!"

I started choking.

I felt her rush to my side, "Are you okay!?"

I hit my fist against my chest and felt the food go down. I couldn't find my voice so I just rapidly nodded my head.

Jiraiya seemed upset by being called my dad, "Do you really think I look old enough to have a child her age?"

She didn't immediately respond and I nearly choked on air this time.

He attempted to lay on some charm, "Thank you for worrying about her though. You sweet little thing."

If I would've rolled my eyes as hard as I wanted to; they would've fell out of my head.

"Two can play that game."

I grabbed the waitresses hand and pulled her attention to me, "Such a beautiful woman; with such a caring heart. Thank you for the concern; but I'm okay," I ran my thumb over the back of her hand and her cheeks quickly turned red.

She began to stutter, "C-c-can I g-g-et you any thing e-e-else Ms?"

I gave her the cutest smile I could manage, "Your existence has been enough. But thank you my sweet."

She quickly hid her face and ran off.

I looked at Jiraiya who's mouth was wide open; and I winked at him.

"I can out do you any day old man."

When we finally reached the hot spring; I couldn't help but get excited. It had been awhile since I've been to one.

"Finally made it! Let's get to work and start training!," Naruto will always be a flaming ball of energy.

"Hang on! Let's wash off the dust from our journey first!," Jiraiya responded.

Naruto made a noise of disapproval.

"Remember. Healing your arm is apart of the training process."

Naruto wore a scowl on his face as he watched Jiraiya keep walking.

Jiraiya continued, "These hot springs are great for broken bones. Besides, hot springs are a lot of fun!"

The sudden excitement in his voice made me roll my eyes, "Can't take the pervertedness out of the sage I see."

When I stepped into the hot spring area I couldn't help but laugh.

There was a giant solid wall separating the women from the men.

I heard Jiraiya yelling from the other side.

I shook my head, serves him right. I prepared myself and stepped into the spring quickly.

"Finally. Some peace on this trip."
