"My Prince?" They called out as they stepped into the vast library. "Where are you?"

It had been a little awkward at the start. They needed to gain full trust from everyone at Bright Moon. It took a few days for Catra to not jump at their throat every time she saw them. Things were strange with Peekablue at the start too. But ultimately, everything worked out. Catra didn't completely trust them but that was understandable. They wouldn't trust themself.

"Darling where are you?" They shouted out again. Still nothing about from their voice echoing around the room. "This place really is huge." They muttered, feeling a little vexed at the sheer size of the room.

Double Trouble began to wander round the rows and rows of books. There were thin, thick, paperback, hardback and all the colours possible lined up. Some books were so thick that they filled a a good quarter of the shelf. Finally they reached the whatever it was called section. They didn't know. Everything was written in Etherian runes.

They picked out a book and started flicking through it. It was pointless of course. Peekablue was trying to teach them to read Etherian but just learning to speak Etherian had been hard. They had to pick it up from criminals in the Crimson Waste. It had been a while since they'd read a book. There weren't any left written in their language.

They snorted at themself. Picking up a book they couldn't read. They shut it and reached to slide it back in it's place. "That's a good book. The writing is bit confusing but the ideas the writer is trying to get across are fascinating." Peekablue was standing at the entrance of the section, his earlier stony stare was gone. Now he just seemed...tired. He walked over to take the book out of their hands. "What I find most interesting is that no one is quite sure who the writer is. It's all about how the only correct way to live is in pure chaos. Let nature do what it wants." He gave them a small smile. "I should read it to you sometime."

They smiled back a little. "That would be lovely." A few precious seconds of silence hung in the air. Peekablue's smile fell and he sighed deeply.

"You're the only one who dared to come see me, hm?"

"I have to admit darling. I was a little nervous to face your wrath myself."

He leaned back on the shelves and fixated on a spot on the shelves. "I should probably apologise."

"You're both stressed and you both have very strong opinions. It just happens to clash a little when you share different opinions." They took his delicate, gloved hand in theirs and intertwined their fingers gently.

"It's just... Farsight, as much as it gives me a headache, is comforting. If I can't see certain places or people it worries me. There could be so much suffering, I could be preventing so many plans. But I can't see any of it."

"Glimmer said some pretty irrational things. You both did as people often do in anger but she did make a good point." He turned to look at them. Not angry. Not annoyed. Curious. "Why risk the lives of people who will definitely be in danger if they're sent there for the lives of people who are maybe or maybe not in danger?"

Peekablue stirred in his thoughts for a little while. "I see what she means." He started. Then hesitated, his words were muddling in his mind. He wasn't sure what to say. "What if there are more lives in danger than the ones we'll be sending and I can't see them?"

Double Trouble nodded slightly. "The Princesses didn't have Farsight and couldn't see everyone but still managed to win." They squeezed his hand lightly. "Prime can't see us either. We're equal."

"That's true." He pecked them on the cheek. They pecked him back on the lips. "Thank you lizard."

"Is that really my nickname now?"

He giggled, not even holding back his laughter. "You can thank Wolcot for that."

They mockingly rolled their eyes. "I'm going to find Glimmer now. See you at dinner?"

"Of course." Their Prince smiled again. It was their favourite sight. His beautiful smile. Then he went off to find the Queen.
