He woke up with a pounding headache. And a shit ton of questions, the Eye was meant to answer questions not give him more. The 'old tyrant' statue was glaring down at him with eyes cold as stone, probably because they were made of stone. He was a Mystacor criminal. He drowsily got up and touched at the part of his head with a throbbing pain. There was a bump the size of walnut. Ow.

Peekablue quickly rushed to find Micah. He burst into his room, panting and sweating despite the chilly morning air. "Who is." He took a deep breath to steady his breathing. "Who is 'old tyrant?"

"If you check the library-"

"Great."

He reluctantly ran over to the other side of the castle and finally reached the library. It couldn't compare to Bright Moon but it was still very impressive. Everything was made of metallic, lilac stone. The balconies, stairs and shelves were carved smoothly by only the highest quality sorcery. He gave himself a few moments to regain his breath before wandering around the books until finally...

Peekablue smiled to himself in relief. He reached for a worn, leather book. It was as thick as both his legs and very, very heavy. It's almost as if the whole universe was discouraging him. He opened the book to the first page once he found a desk to slam it on.

There was a lot of pages for someone who's name he didn't even know. Usually when he had a lot of research to do for the princesses he'd have to bring it to his room. Then familiar scaly arms would wrap around him and he'd feel soft lips trailing up his neck.

"Hey sweetheart." Their tail slithered around his neck and their arms tightened a little. They nuzzled his neck gently.

"Hello my love." They raised their eyebrows at his work in front of him and gave a low whistle. "Lots of princely duties to fufil tonight?'

"Yeah...sorry. I volunteered because I don't trust any of the princesses to do thorough enough research and they do plenty as it is. I don't have the right kinds of powers to fight to regain towns." He told them and turned to look at them apologetically.

They smiled at him. They weren't angry or disappointed. They were just understanding. "I'll keep you company then." Their tail moved a little further up his leg. Double Trouble started kissing his neck, slightly harder this time. It wasn't long before his face flushed violet.

"Darling, I-I'm trying to concentrate."

"Multitasking sweet Prince, it's a very valuable skill."

"Glimmer would want me to focus on this."

"Glimmer isn't here. She doesn't have to know about this little distraction." Their every word was tickling his ear.

"She will once she sees the hickies I can feel you giving me." They giggled deliriously at his response before smirking, their eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Then I'll put them somewhere only we can see."

Peekablue grinned ridiculously wide and only just caught himself doing it. He looked down at the long, midnight black glove on his hand and only smiled more. He missed double trouble so much.
