"Okay everyone." Glimmer began as she faced the fully seated table. "Shadow Weaver is with Madame Razz. Adora, you'll lead the group since you know where she is and you know Madame Razz better than any of us. Peekablue will keep a look out for clones and everyone else needs to focus on capturing Shadow Weaver. Remember that she's more dangerous than ever so don't engage in any direct combat with her unless you're a princess. We are the only ones with enough firepower to face her. We have to get Shadow Weaver no matter what."
"But no one hurts Razz." Adora cuts in. Glimmer smiles comprehensively.
"No one hurts Razz." She echoes as an order but also a reassurance. "Everyone gear up and let's go."

After leaving Bright Moon, Adora leads the group of the usual Alliance members and a few guards through the woods. They could only hear the chattering of animals and the soft crunch of the grass beneath their footsteps. The air was humid and smelled moist. As usual Double Trouble and Sea Hawk bonded over their hatred for how humidity messes up their hair whilst Mermista and Peekablue exchange knowing looks.

"No matter what your hair looks like you're still gorgeous my love." Peekablue murmured into Double Trouble's ear before giving them a sweet peck on the cheek. They had intertwined fingers at the start and their grip on each other's fingers had only tightened.

"I think we're nearly there!" Adora called out from the front of the group. A flash of white caught Catra's eye. Her ears pricked up and she could hear a faint rustling but it didn't seem to be an animal. "Adora." She tugged on Adora's sleeve. "We're not alone. I think there are people in the trees. But don't-"

"FOR THE HONOUR OF GRAYSKULL!" Adora shouted as she ran towards the trees, heroically brandishing her sword.

"...confront them." Catra finished with an exasperated sigh. She wasn't sure what she expected.

In response to her brash attack, the ones hiding in the trees revealed themselves. Over a dozen clones came rushing out the trees and bushes surrounding them. It was an ambush. An ambush that Peekablue hadn't seen coming.

Double Trouble was definitely a valuable member of the Alliance but when it came to physical fighting, it's never been their strong point. They picked up some techniques from brawls in the Crimson Waste but that was as far as it went. They could only rely on the predictability of the clones' fighting so they could avoid them. If they shapeshifted into a clone, how many could they take down before one notices?

Peekablue, on the other hand, was trained in combat from a young age. His parents couldn't risk the only living Lapis seer to be assassinated because he didn't know basic self defence. His work with the League had majorly amplified his skills. Contrary to the savage punches that untrained civilians were throwing around, he was gracefully knocking down clones like a divine angel of violence. The way he moved was almost as if he was going through a choreography. It certainly seemed like he was dancing, his smooth, flowing moves did not seem like they belonged on a battlefield.

Amidst all the violence, a quiet figure in a dark, heavy, woollen cloak stood not so far away. Concealing themself behind the large trees and vast foliage. In their hands lay a rune circle, a deep cerulean blue, glowing rune circle. It was similar to the many spells Micah and Glimmer cast except instead of a circle in the middle of the spell, there was a closed eye. With one thin but not delicate finger, the figure slowly pulled up the eye's eyelid to open it. A brief but blinding beam of light erupted from the pupil. He would see her now.

Peekablue felt his headache fade away, a headache he didn't realise he had until it went away. He could see her. A hooded figure, obscured by the tenebrous shadows of the forest. That's when he resheathed his sword and started to run after her. He hadn't seen her before so how could his Farsight only see her now? He hadn't seen the clones either. He hadn't been able to see the whole area of the forest but was able to now. He only had three questions who, why and how.
