"MOVIE NIGHT!" The sentient ponytail girl and Scorpion girl, both with no proper understanding of personal space shrieked in ear splitting unison. Scorpia was ever the gentle sweetheart but they made sure to never get on her bad side. She'd obliterated a dozen clones with one strike of scarlet lightning and they had mentally noted to not ever get her angry. Her hugs? Weirdly amazing. Her muscles? Impeccable. Her power? Terrifying. Everything about this woman was built like a war machine and she had the personality of delicate daisy that could be ripped from its stalk in a too forceful summer breeze.

Entrapta was definitely a fascinating character. They couldn't say they were a fan of being poked around with hazardous looking objects and getting bombarded with questions.

"What happens to your clothes when you shapeshift? Do they disappear? Are you completely naked and have to steal clothes? Can you shapeshift your genitalia? Can other shapeshifters do that? Are there different species of shapeshift-"

"Honey backtrack, can I shift my what?"

"Your genitalia. It's all in the name of science. Can you shapeshift your organs?"

Despite her...strange 'scientific' queries they could say that they were somewhat friends with her. She never understood their subtle innuendos and it made them internally break down with laughter.

"Everyone! I just met the most interesting scientist. He gave me this magnificent organism!"

"Magnificent orgasm? Ooh get it girl."

"You're pronouncing it wrong there's an i."

"DOUBLE TROUBLE I SWEAR ON SATAN'S ASSCRACK-" And then there was Catra.

When it came to Catra, everything was so muddled up. She took every opportunity to take a dig at them, they always received only the most putrid glares, she hated them. In all honesty, Catra had every right to be mad at them. They knew that. It didn't mean they don't miss her boisterous laughter when they mocked the princesses or the glee they felt as she commanded the whole Horde with them grinning at her side.

Okay so it wasn't exactly ethical to be a mercenary for the villainous army taking over the planet but it was fun and it was the only place where no one gave them weird stares and suspicious whispers when they passed by. They had a best friend again. It gave them the thrilling feeling of adrenaline and if it made them so happy surely not all of it was bad.

The sky was just starting to melt into a multitude of flaming oranges and serene purples as the sun went to rest. A handful of twinkling stars blinked in the distance. Etheria had the best sunsets out of all the planets they'd seen. Perched on the balcony, she rested her forearms and was bent slightly as she quietly watched the breath taking colours across the sky that were slowly fading into darkness. Her soft tail curled slightly at the end and wisps of chestnut, baby hair floated in the warm, gentle gusts of wind.

"Hello kitten."

Her formerly tranquil mood quickly flipped as she scowled at the intruder with her razor claws glinting in the disappearing sunlight.

"You hate me." Catra rolled her eyes, they were stating the obvious. "Honestly it's not surprising." They cautiously inched next to her on the balcony and rested on it then watched the sunset just as she had. "I was an asshole to you and I deserve your hatred. " They sucked in a sharp breath through their teeth and finally dared to look at her. "I'm sorry. What I did was wrong and if I can make it up to you, I will. You ar-" They stopped abruptly, the haunting grins and careless giggles were just joyful memories and harsh reminders of reality. "You were my best friend. I said..." They could practically taste the venom they had unleashed on her all the way back then, at her weakest point, when they had needed her the most. "Horrible things that can't be forgiven and I'm really sorry."

Catra stayed silent. They briefly wondered if they'd been wrong. Then she turned to face them, her face was still fixed in a neutral expression, she seemed to be pondering something. Then they received a painful CLACK! Their cheek started to sting a little as they felt it become bluer.

"Ow."

"You're right. I did hate you."

"Did? Is that forgiveness?"

"Nope." Their face fell and suddenly their tensed stomach seemed to hurt more than their stinging cheek. She turned from the balcony and walked away but stopped at the doorway. Just before the last slithers of sunlight escaped from them she swivelled around again for a moment. "But it's a start."
