The bus stops at the bus stop by my house, I step off the bus and start to walk, I make it outside my house it was night so nobody would know I was out there, I climb on top of the fence and start to climb up the pole that leads to my bedroom, I open my window that was unlocked

I climb into my room, I close and lock my window after, I rattle my door knob to see if it was locked, it was.

I throw my tote bag in the pile of clothes, I take my jacket off along with my shoes and clothes, I put on a pair of black shorts and a long grey hoodie, I go under my blanket and fall asleep

I wake up to complete silence, no effy banging on my door, no parenrs arguing peace and quiet, I get out of bed and don't think but to unlock and open my door, I turn to my left to see Effys room door opened, I glance in her room and see no Effy

I walk down the stairs and see Mum in the kitchen, She notices me, "Aphrodite!" She jumps up from her seat, She runs up to me with her cigarette still in between her middle and pointer finger

She hugs me, I push her back "Hi mum." I say bluntly, "Oh god where have you been?" She said wiping the dirt off my forehead

"It doesn't matter" I mumble, I walk past her and go in the kitchen, I grab the bread and put one piece in the toaster, I put the toaster on

I go into the living room and once again see no Effy "Where's Effy?" I ask, "She's gone out, went to.. look for you Cook called her" She stated, My lips parted, I raise my eyebrows

"Oh"
