The Morning

In some deep part of Bill's brain he half expected to wake up having Dipper of crawled in during the night for protection from the storm. However, he had not. Which is fine. He has sulked all night, frightened and alone, surly now he's more receptive to listening to the fact they have had a good time together.
The King dresses and heads down to Dipper's room.
When he opened to door, he was greeted by Dipper on the floor. His sleeves where bloody but no signs of torn fabric. Bill's two brothers were stood over him.
"What did you do?" he yells, rushing over and dropping to the floor and shoving them away.
"We did nothing, he was like this when we came in."
"I think you're going to need a new pet." kill laughs.
In a moment, Bill found himself thrown across the room. His hands had barely grazed Dipper's arms when it happened and now Pinetree was sat up, Killer laughing and William crouching by the now awake researcher.
" What the hell was that Pinetree?" Bill coughed, getting up after being winded.
Dipper's eyes were cold as they locked with Bill's, "You'll never touch me without my consent again, Demon King."

Killer couldn't control his amusement as his brother sits sulking.
"He carved into his own flesh just so you couldn't get your way. What a rush!" he laughs.
Bill grumbles.
"This is why consent is important, brother."
"Oh shut it leach. Your victims give consent to affectionate acts, not feeding so stop acting like you have the moral high ground when we all know you just take advantage of the fact everyone thinks you're soft and harmless." Bill snaps.
Killer found a comfortable spot in the table," I'm more impressed by the complexity of the sigil he cut into himself without any faults. He must have an extensive knowledge of the dark arts. Especially as it's personalised to only effect you."
Bill stands, starting to pace, "What am I supposed to do? How do I make it up to him?"
"Don't forget he's your prisoner of five days. He's not special apart from his heritage. Just kill him." The red Demon suggests with an excited tone, any chance for blood shed was exciting to him.
"Or earn his trust back." William suggests, "then cut the sigils out when his guard is down."
"You're no help! Either of you."
The storm outside continued on, it was distressing. Bill couldn't be there for Pinetree and he knew he should be right now.
The doors to the grand Hall open and two guards rush after a very pissed off Dipper.
"I'm sorry your highness. We couldn't-"
"Where is it you thieving ass? I know you went through my things." Dipper shouts.
"What? I don't know what you mean?"
"My sword, twelve daggers and three knives all missing. Don't think I'm an idiot when we all know I'm just as smart as you, you prick."
William moves closer, "Dipper, why do you have such things? You seem delicate, like me. That's what Bill says."
William was lying to see the reaction, Bill didn't have time to correct him before he was punched is the jaw.
"aw, fuck... I thought I couldn't touch you and this the viscera."
"Only without my consent. But, I'm so willing to punch you. You kidnap me, build false friendship, control and mind wash me and now, you steal my belongings and call me delicate?! I'm sick of this shit, give me my sword and meet me on the courtyard." He storms out and the guards struggle to keep up.
Killer laughs at his brother once more, "He's something else to be sure. Shame you have to kill him now. "
"Shut up, that's not true. Just... How could things go so wrong so fast?"
"Things were never going to work out well, brother. He's one of those human things" Killer waved his hand around.
"He's different from other researchers though."
Killer laughs, "All humans are the same."
One of the other guards who was following Dipper around, "Your majesty... I'm sorry we tried, but, you know how he is..."

A sizeable crowed had gathered in the opening courtyard, Dipper had challenged the King to a dual- there was no keeping anyone away.

Some of the nobles and staff that found the human an interesting but kind specimen that they'd all be sad to see go. Everyone was sure dipper would lose. Unfortunately, a mortal against a King was just no competition.

Bill looked across the courtyard, in  his hand was Dipper's sword.

Dipper was pacing, dressed in the light armour that was with his belongings. As Bill saw him, he was being offered a sword.

"I can't use that. I need mine, has no one been able to find it?" He asks.

"And why, Pinetree, do you need this one specifically?"

Dipper's eyes narrowed onto his opponent, he takes the sword he was offered. In one fast motion, he swings it down to the ground from above his head.

Silence takes over the courtyard as the sword shatters upon coming in contact with the earth.

"That's why."

So he has a few tricks up his sleeve, Bill assesses; ignoring the fact that in their first dual it meant Dipper thought he could beat the king without trying at full force.

Bill tosses the sword across the ground to Dipper, who picks it up and inspects the blade.

"Don't worry, I didn't dull it. This will be a fair fight." Bill reassures.

Dipper glares at him, "I could easily kill you with a dull blade. I'm making sure you didn't scratch it."

Killer laughs, "He seems so much more fun now. why didn't you tell us he could be like this?"

Bill doesn't answer. In all honesty, he didn't even consider Dipper could have a side to him like this. It was unnerving how little he really did know him. It took less then a week for the demon King to feel such love- interest for a mortal while really knowing nothing about them...

Just before the dual begins, Dipper raises a scroll above his head- it's a final letter and Will. It was customary. Bill does the same, handing his to his brothers and Dipper just throws his to the ground. It hurt Bill in a way. Dipper really had no one here. His family was in some distant place worried about him.

The king had managed to forget Dipper had an entire life outside his castle wall and beyond his land. He had family and loved ones maybe even a loved one... And he'd been snatched away in the dead of night... Just went missing.

Dipper takes a few  jabs at Bill, who just keeps on the offensive and being lost in thought.

"You prick!  Actually fight me!" Dipper's voice cuts through those thoughts, however, now all Bill could see was a lost man he'd stolen away. How could he claim to feel for him and keep him hostage? Who was up every night crying for him? How could he have not seen how much he was hurting him until Dipper's blade was aimed to him?

The soft squish sound of flesh being stabbed filled the air as the other sword fell to the ground with a clatter. Blood dripping down into the dirt so accompany the weapon.

Bill had forfeited only a moment too late- now there was a whole in his stomach.

"Go home Pinetree... You're free from me..."
