Y/N's POV

It's been a few days since you got your heart broken. It was filled with nothing but tears as you've stayed home

Ymir , Historia and surprisingly , Pieck often visited you. Armin knew that you're heart broken but he didn't know why cause you didn't told him, You couldn't.

Although you weren't attending any of your classes , You were still responsible enough to submit your requirements with the help of Ymir and Hisu

Today was the fourth day that you stayed home and you're alone for now because classes are still on going

You sat on your bed with a lot of used tissue papers and empty water bottles scattered around your dark room , You're eyes had large bags under them, Your nose still runny from all the crying you did. In short , You're a mess

You reached your arm towards your nightstand and grabbed your phone

Y/N L/N's STILL ABSENT , WHERE IS SHE? WHERE'S THE CAPTAIN BALL OF THE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM? IT'S BEEN ALREADY FOUR DAYS AND SHE'S STILL NOT SHOWING UP

You saw an article about you being absent on your school page
A lot has been commenting why? and what happened to her? , Hope she shows up soon And things like that which made you grunt and turn your phone off

This day , you decided to go to the place you used to go to let off steam. The shooting range

"Y/N! , It's been a while since you've gone here!" Kenny , The shop keeper said as he handed you your favorite gun

"I missed it here , I just stopped going here cause..." You paused as you remembered why "Of somethings" You finished before walking off to test your skills again

FRESHMAN YEAR

"Hey Y/N look at that cute girl over there!" Ymir said , pointing at the brunette with curly hair and a nice face "Shut the fuck up Ymir , I'm trying to concentrate!" You snapped at her as you pulled the trigger , Shooting bullseye thrice. The people around you applauded .

Some we're even shocked on how you did that despite of your age which was 17

"Y/N! Look she's heading towards our way!" Ymir said causing you to turn towards the direction of the girl

"H-hey" You said as she stood in front of you giving you an opportunity to check her out

She's wearing a mini-skirt with a brown tank top and on top of that was a trench coat which suited her well

"You're good...At shooting I mean" She stated , letting out the slightest chuckle "Thanks , I- I'm Y/N by the way" You said , Offering your hand for a handshake "Pieck , Pieck Finger"

You were mesmerized by this girl , Her aura was simply alluring.

TIME SKIP
AFTER 3 YEARS

Today was the day you were supposed to confess to Pieck on the same place you met her

You pulled up in front of the shooting range but when you were about to go out , You saw her with a blond , Laughing and it seems like she was enjoying her self

You tried to convince yourself that they were just friends , They're nothing compared to what you and Pieck have.

You parked your car and stood in front of the two , Behind you was a bouquet of flowers and a huge teddy bear

"Hey uh, Can We talk?" You asked her and she nodded , telling the blond to wait for her outside

"Pieck I've been meaning to tell you how I feel , What you mean to me , Ever since that day that I met you , I-" "What does this mean Y/N?" She cut you off, Her expression was unreadable and her tone was in monotone

"I l-like you Pieck" You said , Trying to maintain your confidence stance . After that , Silence fell between the both of you , Causing you to be nervous wreck

"B-but I... Only see you as a friend Y/N , I'm sorry" She said before walking off. Leaving you broken.

"woah easy there Y/N, You seem like you're ready to kill someone" Kenny said while chuckling . Your expression immediately changed. He was right. You were filled with nothing but pure range as you remembered that awful memory, Not to mention the current situation you're in

Kenny handed you the paper target , All bullseye. "Still impressive as ever Y/N" He said as he pat your head before walking off.

You made your way back to your apartment as you walked pass Hange's house , There you saw her and Moblit arguing causing you to walk off as fast as possible

Once you arrived at your apartment , It was the same as you left it.

You started to take off your shirt but once you've entered your room , You saw Pieck perched on your bed causing you to immediately put your clothes back on, Your face now turning red as well as Pieck's

"P-Pieck , What are you doing here?" You asked once you were decent. "I just wanted to visit you N/N~" She said , Calling you by your nickname but only Hange was allowed to call you by that "Please don't call me that" You said as you sat beside her

"Where have you been?" She asked while placing her body closer to yours "Out" You shortly replied , Not showing any sort of interest. You stood up causing her to slightly stumble but instantly sat back up

You sat on your chair , facing your laptop as you scrolled through your files

"Y/N , Won't you give me some attention please" She pleaded

Suddenly , an idea popped into your head. "You want my attention , Fine!" You said making your way towards her

What happened next surprised the black haired girl
