CHAPTER 20

Y/N's POV

After a week you finally decided to show up to school , You had a whole new appearance. You got a haircut and a small ,but noticable tattoo on your neck

Everyone was shocked on seeing you enter and almost everyone lined up outside of the main campus just to see you

"Is that really Y/N?"

"Woah she changed but in a good way"

"Y/N! omg!"

Those were only a few of the murmurs that you've heard from the students as you passed by

"Y/N!" Pieck called out your name causing you to face her direction. She ran towards you and immediately hugged you "Hey" You said as you wrapped your arm around her waist

Just to be clear, You have nothing going on with Pieck as you still couldn't get over Hange , The thoughts of her still lingers on your mind , Constantly reminding you of the heart ache she brought.

"Let's head to the gym, I have cheer leading practice" She said and you nodded some of the students you walked passed asked the same question ; Are they dating?

You mentally chuckled at their question. How would we date if she rejected me a hundred times already

It didn't took you that long to reach the gym and she immediately ran off to the cheerleading team

You sat beside Ymir. "What's up with you and Pieck?" She instantly asked "Nothing , we're... Friends I guess" You stated , still unsure on how to call your situation with her

"Friends... Doesn't seem like it , Somethings telling me that you're more than that" She mused , Adverting her gaze to you "Tch I've just got my heart broken ... Again and I won't let it happen thrice. Besides...You're well aware on who I want" You stated , Whispering the last part

"So you're in a Situationship with Pieck?" She said , "Situationship? Uh that's a weird way to describe it but... It's kinda like that" You said while slightly chuckling

"But It doesn't change the fact that I still want Her" You insisted in which Ymir just nodded.

Comfortable silence fell between the both of you as you watched the cheerleading squad practice

TIME SKIP

The bell rang and you all headed towards the cafeteria. You knew she was gonna be there but a part of you wanted to see her

"You sure you wanna go? I mean we can eat out if you-" "It's fine Ymir , I know what I'm doing" You immediately cut her off as she nods in response

Ymir held the door open as
You and the others was about to enter the cafeteria but then Pieck called you out , But you didn't notice her for your eyes was met by deep brown orbs that you once called yours

The both of you stared at one another , Her eyes were apologetic , Her stare sent off a look of concern

which you hated , You didn't want her to look at you with concern, With pity , When at the first place , she chose Moblit

Why? , You were ok that day. You even had sex for pit sake and then the next thing you knew, That Moblit guy's kissing her

"Y/N ,I've been calling for you!" Pieck said as she forced you to face her , Your eyes were on Pieck but you could sense Hange's intense gaze

"Oh HAHA I didn't notice , Do you need anything?" You ask while you wrapped your arms around her waist. Both of you followed the rest of your team towards your table and there goes the murmurs and whispers as you passed by

You could've sworn Hange's intwnse glare followed both of you until you reached your seat

"Glad to see you again Y/N" The black haired girl said as she kissed your cheek , Causing you to blush slightly "Likewise" You said as you started to ate

Your whole table along with some nearby tabeles looked perplexed as to why Pieck kissed you , Why was she with you? were you together?

You would occasionally glance at Hange and would even catch her staring at you sometimes but you chose to shrug it off.

After finishing your meal you took out your phone and was about to mindlessly scroll but one message caught your eye

Hange: Are you and
Pieck together?

Tch why would she ask? why does she care?

You're so perplexed and confused on why would she ask you that. She shouldn't care about you anymore

Right?

After breaking your heart , After going back with her ex without giving you any explanation.

You still want her , You still like her , And it's still her. You still haven't moved on , You didn't want to for you were grasping at the hope that she'd comeback

You left her on seen as you shoved your phone back on your pocket and started a conversation with Pieck

Lunch and the other two subject finished with just a blink of an eye and before you know it, It's already time for chemistry

You still couldn't bare to have interactions with Hange.

"Hey , Are you going to class?" Ymir asked as you walked through the vast hallways and behind you was Pieck and Hisu, Chatting

"I don't...Know, I can't Ymir. I still can't" You worriedly stated "Let's go to the gym then" She said in a soft tone which you nodded in reply

Ymir may come out rude when it comes to others , She may often tease you but when it comes with you being hurt , Expect her to be the first one who'd care.

You had been friends with Ymir since kindergarten and treated her like your own sister.

"Hisu , Pieck , We're going to the gym for practice. Y/N has a lot of catching up to do" Ymir stated to the two in which Hisu immediately agreed while Pieck gave off a confused expression and questioned you about it but in the end , she gave in

I can't face you after what you did to me , I'm hurt and betrayed yet I still have the audacity to want you back Hange
