Chapter 12

It's been four and a half months. I don't even know what to say except that I am the worst updater in the world and I am so fucking sorry for the long wait. I wouldn't blame you guys if you abandoned me at this point. I don't wanna make this authors note very long so I'll just stick to the main points, or try to. We can talk about new music and all the lashton moments in the next chapter.

Okay so basically the reason I haven't updated is due to the crazy amount of schoolwork I had and writing other stories. First off for the school, I had really tough classes with a shit load of homework (especially that damn anthropology/psychology and sociology one, it was interesting but damn was it stressful). But my classes are pretty easy this semester, except my religion, but we won't get into that rn.

Also as you are all aware Christmas and Halloween are a thing that happened so I wrote one shots for those. Really long one shots that took a really long time to write and I worked really hard on and it would mean a lot if you checked them out. They're in my oneshots book. I hate to be that person but these took me days and feedback is nice, you don't understand how happy comments make me.

By the way thank you to all the people who read my one shots and left feedback you are the best. Also thank you to all of you for sticking with me throughout my hiatus, I feel like fall out boy. And bc I mentioned them AB/AP is pure perfection, oh my god if I had to pick two of my fav songs tho they'd definitely be Favourite Record and Fourth of July. But that's all I'm gonna say about music for this note, what's your fav song off the album btw?

Also if you could check out my story 'you're the reason I believe in something I don't know' it would mean a lot too. And I actually updated that story the weekend before last. And I would've updated this story last weekend but I was helping with the school play.

I also made a story ideas book and feedback on those would be much appreciated. Also follow me on ig, it's the same as my username on here, I post a lot of stuff about my fics and why I can't update on schedule.

I am on march break rn so I'll try and update as much as possible, but I may or may not be going to Montreal, so that would obviously interfere. Also my parents might force me to socialize.

Okay and finally as you will see this chapter is different. It's in third person bc I learned from writing the one shots I like it way better. I am going to edit the other chapters of this story to be third person eventually but I ain't gonna do that rn bc it takes time.

But like usual I love you guys and I'm so sorry I'm such a terrible updater.

It is now lunch and Luke is trying his best to pay attention to his friends but he can't help but think about the fact the day is already half over and he can see Ashton soon. But the only reason he's so anxious to see Ashton is because of his concussion, there's no other reason.

Okay maybe there is, but Luke is the only one who's needs to know that. If Louis, Barbara, Zoe or any of Luke's friends besides Harry or Ashton knew they would only tease him even more. Luke can only handle so much blushing.

And in fact the only blushing Luke can handle comes from Ashton, because it always happens after Ashton says something sweet. And while Luke knows Ashton has a girlfriend and he will never mean it in that way, it's still nice to hear. It's nice to know at least someone, especially someone as amazing as Ashton, doesn't despise him. And Luke knows it won't last long but he can still enjoy it while it does.

And if Harry found out,not only would that mean Luke would have to hear Harry's misconceptions about Ashton and go on about how horrible Ashton is, when he really isn't at all. But Harry would also go on about how dangerous it is to like to Ashton and Luke really doesn't want to be lectured.
