Opposites Attract (Lashton/Larry)

Authors Note (please read! I need your help!)

I've been making a lot of authors notes lately and I'm sorry I feel like I'm annoying you guys with them but like I have stuff to tell you so I kind of have to make one.

Before I tell you that though I wanna talk about the drama I guess you could call it with lashton lately. It's honestly not that big of a deal and people are freaking out over nothing but I still wanna share my opinions on it. As you know Ash was in the hospital lately because he had appendicitis and he's okay and he's actually out of the hospital now but ofc I was still worried and I'm glad he's okay. Also he didn't need to apologize for being sick and having to postpone their trip to Japan and cancel the one to the uk and the people who are mad about it, as well as the girls who mobbed the hospital, don't deserve to call themselves fans.

So the thing people are freaking out about or at least some Lashton shippers on tumblr is the fact Luke went clubbing. People are doubting Lashton and getting mad at Luke for it and basically calling him a bad boyfriend and it's so stupid. It's obvious if you watch interviews and ship Lashton that Luke loves Ashton, like really Luke isn't subtle at all. First off the pictures weren't that big of a deal, Luke looked awkward in them and most of them were hq and had the club logo which screamed pr to me. Honestly, they looked like ads.

And I'm sure the whole time Ashton was at the hospital Luke was either visiting him or freaking out about him. I think now that Ashton is back home he told Luke he should go out and have fun bc he's been worrying about him so much the past few days and I'm sure Ben and Jack also helped to drag him away from Ashton and have fun. I don't know that's just why I think and it pisses me off when people doubt their ships, like I know we all do but don't make it public, talk to a friend or something. It also makes me mad people are getting mad at Luke when he did nothing wrong and saying he doesn't care about Ashton. Regardless if you think they're dating or not it's obvious they both care about each other a lot. I really don't think Ashton would be mad at Luke for it and in fact I think he probably convinced Luke to and Ben and Jack saw how stressed their little brother was and took him out to have fun, but I already said that. Also you're ignoring the fact Luke looked hot af (and some of those girls were really pretty too they all were but some seriously made me question my sexuality).

But anyways on to what this note is actually supposed to be about.

First off I don't think I'll be updating this story this week although there's a small chance I might. As I said before my cousins wedding is Sunday and I'm also starting a new fic and want to write the prologue for it. If I manage my time well I might be able to write the prologue for that fic as well as the next chapter of this but I can't promise you anything.

So about the fic I'm starting I'm really excited for it so I would really appreciate it if you checked it out when it's posted. It'll probably be up sometime tomorrow and I didn't know if I'm gonna make a note on this story letting you know when I post it bc like I said I've been posting too many authors notes lately. So keep checking if I don't.

So I actually need your help for it bc I have no idea what to name it. It's going to be a bakery fic (and Lashton ofc) and I kind of want the title to be song lyrics or something related to baking or the plot. I can't think of one that isn't really cheesy though so if you guys think of anything good just leave a comment.

Now more about the plot bc I'm really excited about this omg. I've only come up with it in the past few days but I was like I need to write this and I need to write it now. So basically Luke's family owns a bakery and it's getting pretty popular and since Jack and Ben are getting older they can't help as much. So Luke's parents decide they should start hiring and Luke is reluctant at first because he likes it just being his family but of course he doesn't tell his family that. Ashton is one of the applicants and Luke changes his mind realizes maybe it won't be so bad after all.
