Chapter 14

Omg guys it's been so long since I updated and I am so sorry, I'm terrible. I really hope now that it's summer I can update more frequently but you all know how terrible I am keeping promises and updating frequently.

This chapter is pretty long about 5100 words so I'm hoping that'll make up for it.

Also I'm writing this note before I proofread this chapter and I currently have the onthewall thing on on full volume bc there's background noises and I really hope the single doesn't start randomly blaring and give me a heart attack.

But I wrote all of Luke's parts last night and did the Ashton ones today so I kind of did it out of order but I like the way it turned out. But what really sucks is my least favourite part in the chapter which is in Ashton's second part (you'll know when you get there) got deleted bc word decided to be a little bitch and stop responding when I went to make the final save. So I had to rewrite my least favourite part and I'm now behind on the video bc of it.

So that kind of sucks but I don't know, I know watching a guy, paint isn't the most entertaining but the fandom needs to chill. Like I won't go into detail bc I have a post on my ig (the one that's Michael's twitter icon) but the fandom has been really unsupportive lately and yeah. I saw a tumblr post that was like' plot twist there is no single and it's just a dude spray painting bc 5sos are assholes'. And tbh if that was the case the fandom would deserve it due to the way people have been acting lately.

Also it's Luke's birthday in Australia rn but I refuse to believe it's his birthday until tomorrow and I don't know why everyone's saying he's turning 19, he's turning 9 smh, get your facts straight.

But anyways enough rambling I'm sure you're all waiting for the chapter so here it is and like I always I love you guys and thank you for your support. (Also wattpad has this really cool inline comment feature and I love it when people use it ;);) -unless you can't bc they fucked up their site-).

"So" Louis says sitting down on the couch next to Ashton.

The TV is on but Ashton isn't really paying attention to it, as he's texting Michael and Calum.

They're not really talking about anything important just schoolwork and Ashton told them about his concussion and how things are going in London. And they're saying exactly what Ashton expects them to, which is along the lines of 'beat Harry up' or 'come back to Australia we can still go through with that outback plan'.

Which are both things Ashton can't do, beating up Harry because well, he doesn't want to give Harry what he wants. And he can't just leave, because well, Luke's here. Ashton's grown quite attached to the blonde in the small time he's known him. He can't just leave not only because he would miss Luke too much but because he can't leave him alone with Harry who constantly babies him.

And as much as Ashton loves Michael and Calum to be quite frank living in the wilderness with them would be hell on Earth. Not only would he would have to deal with them being an obnoxious couple 24/7 but Michael would never last in the wild. He rarely goes outside and when he does he has to be covered in sunscreen or he'll turn as red as a lobster. Not to mention he's a magnet for mosquitos and would always be constantly complaining.

"So" Ashton says matching Louis' tone of voice.

"Well I don't wanna start my homework yet and I can tell you're just as bored as I am, so let's talk" Louis says and Ashton has to hold in a groan.

When Louis wants to talk it only means one thing, he's going to tease Ashton about Luke.

"So what did you and Luke do yesterday?" Louis asks wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
