eunha walked into college, yawning. she had stayed up all night again, working on a few assignments and looking into new theories and conspiracies about space on the internet, writing her own in a journal she kept.

"good morning, miss girl" haein's voice and arm around her shoulder snapped her out of the half asleep state
"morning" she greeted back with laziness lacing her tone
"geez, you look like a panda with those dark circles"
"at least pandas are cute"

haein hummed and walked the sleepy girl to her locker, "i heard the homeroom teacher is absent today. you can sleep then"
eunha nodded and opened her locker, putting everything in her hands inside and arranging them

"damn your locker is clean"
"i try" eunha shrugged, "you should see my closet, though. it's as if a tornado hit that place"

the taller girl chuckled. just then, renjun approached the two and dismissed haein's presence as he held eunha by her shoulders

"how do i ask her out?" he asked in a rush
"good morning to you too"
"eunha, please"
"okay just.. approach her with confidence and.. ask her if she wants to go to a café?"

renjun nodded and pulled eunha into a big hug, "what would i do without you?"
"i don't know, die with a panic attack?"
"shut up"

the sound of someone clearing their throat made the two pull away from the hug. it was haein, looking back and forth between the two, "I'd like an introduction"

"oh right," eunha sheepishly smiled, "renjun this is haein, the friend i made. and haein this is an insignificant person" she winced once renjun hit her arm
"ouch! I'm life kidding, this is renjun and... he's gonna ask his crush out"

renjun rolled his eyes at eunha and passed a smile to haein
"I'm majoring in arts, you?"
"chemistry"
"ew"
"i know."

"haein, why don't you sit with us at lunch?" eunha offered with a smile and haein nodded. the bell rang just then and the thee headed off to their class

everything was going smoothly. haein had been introduced to 6/7 boys as she sat with them at lunch with eunha

"where's jaemin?" eunha asked
"he had been holding his pee for like an hour so he went to the restroom as soon as class ended." jeno answered

the rest nodded and went to either eat or initiate a conversation. eunha, however, searched her whole backpack for her wallet and let out a groan of frustration at the realization she left it in her locker

"what's up?" donghyuck asked the visibly annoyed girl
"i left my wallet in my locker and i wanna go to the vending machine" she pouted.

some might say she's over-reacting but you'll change your mind if you remember it's her second day on her period.

"I'm gonna be back" she aaid and stood up, dashing out of the cafeteria, which wasn't a long walk since their table was a few feet from the cafeteria door

she continued to walk down the empty hallways to her locker while cursing at herself in her head. her walk was cut short when she felt a body pressed against her back and arms encircled around her waist. she turned around almost immediately in shock and locked eyes with the person

"what the fuck are you doi-"
"you have a period stain on your sweater" jaemin said in a hushed voice.

that was when eunha felt her whole face flush a thousand shades of red. she didn't know what to say or do. it was as if she studied for the wrong test; an embarrassing situation that makes you want to cry.

"don't be embarrassed, its a natural thing. you can tie my hoodie around your waist and go change. do you have spare clothing?" jaemin asked in the most softest, sweetest voice.

unable to even open her mouth to say anything, eunha just nodded. even though she couldn't see it, jaemin smiled and pulled himself away from the girl, taking off his hoodie in almost an instant and giving it to the girl. they walked to her locker and took her spare clothes then to restrooms, all in complete silence.

"I'll wait for you outside, hm? and don't be embarrassed about it. think of me as your brother, eun."

that made her even more embarrassed as she got reminded of the time she started her period in front of her older brother and he didn't live it down and teased her about it for years.

without saying a word to jaemin, she entered the restroom and changed in an instant.

she just wanted to fake her death and move to Switzerland at this point.

luckily, jaemin and eunha agreed to not let anyone know about the little incident and lied about running into each other in the hallway as they were questioned by their friends. when asked about her change of clothes, eunha said her other clothes were suffocating her.
which was believable as it has a really thick white sweater and her warmest trouser.

it was nearing the end of the day and haein couldn't walk home with eunha because of a meeting with the chemistry majors.

eunha walked out of the college alone and waited for renjun who promised to walk home with her as he had news that he was excited to tell her.

"newton!!"

she turned around at her nickname being yelled and was met with renjun jogging towards her with possibly the biggest grin she'd ever seen on his face

"someone's happy" she chuckled at the boy
"that's because she said yes to go on a date with me!!"
"what" her face fell
"kim eunha, my fucking crush agreed to go out with me!!!"
