headcanons ~ dating sherlock

Part 2 of my request from AlyksBlossom: Can we get one of him asking us out Then of us dating. Teen!lock of course. That would be cute

Sherlock dating you would involve:

-he hates going to the movies and having to sit through hours of predictable storytelling, but he's the one who plans most movie dates (after reading up reviews and finding stuff with the actors or genres you like! he still pretends to like them, although, honestly, he's just there to spend time with you)

- restaurants and cafés! tons of them. mostly, you both visit a nearby café after school, but occasionally, you treat yourselves at a fancy restaurant (that mycroft reluctantly sponsors after a lot of begging and blackmail from sherlock, of course)

- ICE CREAM! none of your dates are complete without an obligatory ice-cream store visit. at this point, you already know that sherlock's favourite flavour is coffee.

- frantic "did you reach home safe?" texts you both send as soon as you think the other would've reached

- sometimes he drops you back at your doorstep, sometimes you drop him back

- impromptu late night plans! they're very romeo and juliet, and usually involves sherlock turning up outside your bedroom window fairly late and climbing up your balcony for a round of stargazing and ranting with you. 

LOCKDOWN DATING

- you start off with texting, and the two of you are nearly inseparable, always on your phones talking about everything under the sun.

- soon enough, you admitted to missing sherlock's curls and pretty pretty eyes and you two had video calls every day

- sherlock pretends to loathe the calls, but he's secretly pleased to see you 

- "texting's more efficient, why must we do this again y/n?"
"oh come on, you know you miss me!"

- video call dates where you eat together. (it was your idea. sherlock just hides in his room with his food and is too embarrassed to let anyone know that the two of you are having a date over your phones. his parents and mycroft have already figured it out, but well, he doesn't know that yet)

- when you finally get to see each other, you camp in his room with takeaway, and slow waltz together to classical music until the sun's out
