Alicia Snape (Book 6)

Chapter 1

~Alicia's POV~

My eyes fluttered open and I felt arms around me.

I looked to see Draco and I smiled.

I kissed his lips and he woke up smiling.

"Good morning beautiful."

"Morning handsome."

I loved waking up next to him. It made me forget what was going on around me.

I wish I could wake up like this everyday.

But it may not last long because of him.

The Dark Lord.

My smile fell asleep soon as I realized what today was.

Draco saw and stroked my cheek.

"It's going to be ok love."

"I'm not ready."

"I know baby girl."

The door opened and the covers flew off of us.

"I'm glad you two are wearing clothes. Now get ready. The ceremony is about to begin." Trevor's voice rang through the room.

Draco got up and pulled his suit out.

I sat up and opened my closet with magic.

All of my dresses floated out for me to look at and I stared not sure which to pick.

"Do you really have to do that?"

"I couldn't decide last night because someone wouldn't help me." I said still looking at him.

"I told you. You look beautiful in them all."

"Yeah. But I'm not sure which one would be good for this...moment." I said.

My mother came in and saw I was still picking a dress.

She looked and picked one for me.

My other dresses flew back in and the door closed.

"That one would be perfect." She said looking excited.

Of course she is. Her final child is becoming a Death Eater one of her life long dreams.

I sighed and magically put the dress on as my hair and makeup were magically doing themselves.

My dress was strapless with white designs on it. It hugged my waist beautifully and flowed out gorgeously.

I sighed sadly and a pair of strong arms encircled me.

"I know your scared. But we are in this together." Draco said.

"I know." I said.

He kissed my cheek and grabbed my hand.

"Let's get this over with." He said pulling me to the door lightly.

I nodded and followed him along.

We stood outside of the door until it opened.

Once it finally did Draco walked in and I slowly followed behind him.

The Dark Lord stood up and walked toward and looked us up in down and smiled.

He turned to the others and said "today is a celebration. Where two young teenagers come into our ranks and become apart of our little circle."

Everyone smirked and he continued.

"For those of you who don't know, we have Draco Lucius Malfoy and Alicia Marie Snape. Now let's get on with the celebration and begin."

He turned to us again and I shivered internally.

He looked at us and asked "so who would like to go first?"

I stayed put and silent wanting to prolong me not becoming a Death Eater a bit longer.

Draco held his arm out first pulling his sleeve up saying "I will."

I looked to him sadly and watched silently as he was about to recieve the mark.

"Very well." He said smirking.

He held his wand to Draco's arm and whispered the incantation.

Draco fell to his knees in pain and I backed away slowly starting to get scared.

I couldn't help him and I knew it.

He pulled his wand away and let his arm go as he looked towards me.

I let out a shaky breath and he smirked again.

"Don't cry my dear you should be honored of this."

I touched my cheek to feel something wet on my face.

"Your arm please."

I took a deep breath not having the guts to move my arm.

He looked to Trevor and jerked his head to me.

He got up and held me tight holding my left arm up.

"When are you ever going to comply with us Alicia?" Trevor whispered.

I looked around as the wand came closer to my arm and saw Maria.

She smiled sadly at me knowing my pain.

I blinked several times until a burning pain shot up my arm.

I bit my lip to keep from screaming and my legs gave way.

Trevor let go of me knowing I wasn't going anywhere and smirked at me.

Once the wand left a slight burning feeling was still in my arm.

Draco helped me up and held me to help me stay up.

"Congratulations to the both of you. And now, for your first mission."

I looked at him in shock.

He can't possibly be giving us a mission already.

We haven't been Death Eaters for a whole 5 minutes yet.

"While you are at school, I want you both to figure out how to get a team of Death Eaters into the school without being detected and one of you, I don't care who, will need to kill Albus Dumbledore. If you two fail, I will kill everyone you care for."

Ice ran through my veins as I heard him say Dumbledore's name and kill in the same sentence.

"Is that all my lord?" Draco asked.

"Yes for now."

"We accept."

"Good. Now off you go."

Draco grabbed my hand and we went to our room and I stood there still processing what happened.

"Love? Are you okay?" Draco asked me.

I said nothing still processing.

A tear escaped and he knew why I was upset.

I had to kill someone I cared about.

Someone Harry looked up to.

Draco waved his wand and I was in my pj's again.

"Come on love. Come lay with me." He said picking me up and laying me on the bed.

He held me close and I began to cry.

"I know. I know love."

I said nothing and continue to cry.

"Don't worry I won't make you kill him." Draco said.

I clung to his shirt and cried some more until I finally fell asleep in his arms.
