~Alicia's POV~

It has been a week since I killed him

All I did since then was sit in my room staring at the wall.

The day of the funeral I flew towards the woods and hid there and stayed.

At the end of the ceremony after everyone left I put a single rose in his tomb next to him and stroked his cheek.

"I'm so sorry." I said looking at him.

I flew back to my room to find the Dark Lord there and he tortured me for leaving.

Ever since then I stayed there.

I stared at the box waiting for me to have the guts to open it.

I knew deep down I have no clue why he wanted me of all people to kill him, but I knew the answer lied within the box.

Finally I slowly opened the box to reveal an envelope and a heart shaped necklace with a blue stone in it.

I grabbed the letter and opened it carefully and read it.

Alicia,

If you are reading this means I am dead and that either you or your father has killed me. Most likely you since I told you you had to. I bet you are wondering why you had to kill me instead of someone else. It's simple. And the answer lies within this necklace. It belonged to your ancestor Arianna. She gave it to me for protection the day before she died. I knew she would have wanted you to have this. It helps you communicate with the dead. All you have to do is touch the tone and say "I call upon the forces of death to speak to" and say their name. Simple enough. I know you are probably hurting and I promise it gets easier in time. Harry will trust you again when he realizes the truth. But until then try your best to help him. Remember I am here always. No matter how dark or light. I'm here.

Sincerely,
Albus Dumbledore.

As I stared at his signature, a tear fell down my face.

I set the letter neatly back in its box and grabbed the necklace.

I put it on my neck and touched the stone.

I took a deep breath calming myself and said "I call upon the forces of death to speak to Albus Dumbledore."

I didn't hear anything so I looked up to see Dumbledore smiling at me.

"Hello Alicia."

"Professor."

"I'm happy you made it to my funeral. Although I'm sad Harry doesn't trust you. But I promise one day he will."

"Why did I have to kill you?" I asked getting straight to the point.

He smiled and said "as much as the trust your father would have gained from the Dark Lord, you would have gained his trust for both you and your father. And in order to do this that's what you need to have."

"I don't want it."

"I know. But you need it to help Harry find the Horcruxes."

I nodded and he looked down at me sadly.

"Stay strong Alicia."

I nodded and he disappeared.

I curled up into a ball and cried.

I knew I could help Harry.

The problem is gaining his trust.

I will have to find him one day and explain everything.

But until then I need to gain as much information as possible.
