"L/N, can you please just leave me alone? I just want one morning where I don't have you around me."

~Y/N woke up at a more "normal" time today since the boys didn't have volleyball practice.

She tried to look as pretty as she always looked and made her way out of the house in hopes she wasn't too late to run into Akaashi on her way to school since he lived across the street. The distance from her home to the school was about a 15 minute walk.

About 5 minutes into her fast walking, she saw Akaashi's beautiful messy hair from a distance. She began to pick up her pace until she was walking right behind him. His cologne instantly filling her nose. She adored the way he smelled.

The shorter girl walked in silence, waiting to see if he would notice her and would try conversating with her. But, nothing came out of the setters mouth nor did he react in any way.

Suddenly, he stopped walking and she crashed into his back,

"Are you going to say something or are you just going to keep following me?" He said as he turned around to look at her.

Her face instantly turned red, "Well it's not really following you if I'm going to the same place, right?"

He hummed before turning around and continued walking. As their walk continued, she began talking to him and he, was ignoring everything she was saying.

Akaashi had began to regret stopping. Words just kept spilling from her mouth and he had began to feel irritated and bothered.

Once they made it to school, Akaashi saw Bokuto from the corner of his eye. He stopped walking again and looked at the girl, "I think Bokuto-san is trying to get your attention."

"Huh?" She turned around and saw Bokuto conversating with Konoha and a few others.

When she turned back, Akaashi was already a few feet away from her, walking away. She quickly caught up to him, "Akaashi! Bokuto hasn't even seen us."

His eyebrow twitched before he sighed, "L/N, can you please just leave me alone? I just want one morning where I don't have you around me."

Her eyes widened before she looked at her feet, "Okay."

"Thank you."

When she lifted her head, the boy of her dreams was gone. She was about to start crying until she felt a small slap on her back, "Good morning Y/N! How did you sleep? Have you seen Akaashi?"

She turned and her gaze was met with the owl haired boy and she gave him a fake, bright smile, "Hi Bo! I did sleep well thank you. I saw Akaashi go that way." She pointed in the direction he went.

Then Bokuto raised an eyebrow, "Wait, if Akaashi went that way, then why're you still standing here?"

She nervously laughed, "Ah well, Akaashi kinda wanted me to leave him alone so I'm just respecting his wishes."

"Akaashi can be so cold," Bokuto said as he shook his head, "Especially if he knows you like him. He shouldn't be so mean cause that'll hurt you."

The girl only looked at her upperclassmen. She blinked and looked at the floor again before she smiled, "Well, it's okay. I've read books like this. Soon he'll come to me. I just gotta wait it out. Patience."

Bokuto stared at his friend with a confused look, "I don't know what you're talking about but I'll take you to class!"

He linked his arms with her as he lead the way. When they made it to her classroom, Akaashi was already sitting in his seat.

"Akaashi! Where have you been!? I texted you like 10 minutes ago!" Bokuto whined.

Akaashi sighed, "Sorry. I had something to do."

"Something or someone, hmmmmm?" Bokuto said wiggling his eyebrows, forgetting that the girl who was deeply in love with the messy haired setter was standing right beside him.

"I'm not like you Bokuto-san. I would only do stuff with a girl I like. Not for fun." Akaashi replied.

"Lame. Get a girlfriend already. How bout someone who has (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes." The volleyball captain suggested.

Akaashi blankly stared at his friend before his eyes shifted to Y/N. She tensed up and flushed at his gaze and he lightly groaned.

"I'll pass." He said.

The girl felt her heart break. She frowned as the bell rang, "Oh! Gotta blast to class! See ya!" Bokuto ruffled Y/N's hair before running away.

She slowly went and sat in her seat that was only a few from Akaashi's. All during class, she would see other girls staring at the pretty setter. And of course they would. Akaashi really was quite a sight.

She didn't understand why he was so cold with her when all she has done was show him how much she cares for him.

She sighed and put her head down. From the corner of his eye, Akaashi looked at her. He had realized that what he had said might have pushed a little over the edge. Though, it didn't really matter. She never got mad at him. Everytime she got upset, she would take the class to relax and then go beaming up to the setter as if nothing happened.

That's what irritates him most.

Her undying love.

All the attention he received from her.

From a lot of girls really.

He was sure that if he asked her to use her for her body, she would agree instantly, not caring how shallow and wrong the ask was. Only because if was him would she let it be okay.

He groaned again before returning his gaze upfront and paying attention to their teacher.
