~Y/N had woken up extra early this morning to look nice for school today.
The weekend had gone by in a blink of an eye. Probably because she was the happiest she's ever been.
But today, she was nervous.
She was nervous about what people would say about her sudden relationship with Akaashi when he's shown zero interest in her for years.
When she walked outside her home, schoolbag in hand, she saw her pretty boyfriend standing there waiting for her. Her face quickly lit up as she walked towards him.
He finally noticed her and a soft smile spread across his face, "Good morning. How'd you sleep?"
She kissed his cheek, "Morning. I slept fine. You?"
"I slept okay. Would've been better had you stayed the night like I asked."
They both laughed as they made their way towards school. She began to nervously ramble about how people would think it was weird that they suddenly started dating and how people were going to say things. He did nothing but listen to her concerns, thinking about what he would do if this did happen.
Once the made it to the schools gates, he stopped walking and held his hand out towards her. She only stared at it before looking at him.
He lightly wiggled his fingers, "Cmon. You're my girlfriend, aren't you?"
She blushed. Hearing the word "girlfriend" come out of Akaashi's mouth while directing it towards her made her heart flutter. She hesitated before placing her hand in his. He gave it a slight squeeze as they began walking again.
Once properly on school grounds, Y/N realized she was worried for nothing. No one seemed to acknowledge them. Well only a few people but they didn't seem to care.
She didn't realize they took long walking there until a few minutes after they arrived, the bell rang, signaling the students to go to class.
"Good thing we have the same class right?" He whispered to her.
"Definitely."
The two second years quickly made it to their home room and separated since she sat more towards the back.
The rest of the school day had gone by pretty smoothly. No one bothered her about her relationship with Akaashi nor did anyone give her any looks.
Or at least,
she thought too soon.
"Hey! You!"
She looked up and saw Kanae standing a few feet away from her.
"Crap.." She whispered to herself.
Kanae had been waiting for the moment Akaashi left her side to give her a piece of her mind. Good thing Bokuto exists and dragged Akaashi away for whatever he needed.
The hazel haired girl then got closer, "You are the biggest slut Ive ever known! First Akaashi, then some weirdo from Nekoma and now Akaashi again?! Just can't stay out of people pants can you? Also who do you think you are parading around here with Akaashi, huh!? You're probably the reason he ghosted me a few weeks ago! I hope you realize that you're just getting my sloppy seconds!"
By now everyone was starring at them. The (H/C) haired girl just kept looking at Kanae. She could see the rage burning through her.
She let out a small sigh before smiling and placing a finger on her chin, "That's really interesting because I fucked him long before you were in the picture. Oh and he still fucked me even when you were in the picture. Looks to me like you were the one who got sloppy seconds. Not me. You're only jealous you couldn't get him wrapped around your finger," She took her finger off her chin and wiggled it at her, "But he's well wrapped around mine."
Steam was basically spilling from Kanae ears for how mad she was, "You little bitch."
Kanae quickly raised her hand to strike the girl but once it was up, someone grabbed a hold of her wrist, stopping her. Her tensed body relaxed at the sudden touch. She turned around and her eyes widened and who it was,
"It's pretty pathetic that you waited to get her alone to do all this. You couldn't say all this in front of me?" Akaashi said, his grip on her wrist tightening.
A few laughs were heard. The girl quickly went from angry to scared and embarrassed.
Akaashi let go of her wrist and made his way to Y/N's side, "I never had any intentions in dating you, Kanae. You're annoying and give me headaches. Instead of trying to pick fights with my girlfriend, maybe you should ask yourself why I never got hard around you. You never made me finish either. You should really work on that or else Id hate to be the next person you fool around with."
A loud laughter was heard before everyone else started laughing. The setter grabbed his girls hand and quickly left with her.
Once they were out of sight, he sighed and faced her, "Sorry I left you alone. I didn't think this was gonna happen. Fuck people to be honest. I also feel like I should apologize for-"
"Dont. You're past with Kanae is exactly that. A past. I don't need an apology. It's not like we were dating or even a thing at that." She said with a smile.
"Well yeah but you were,,, you know. And we also had just hooked up when you found out. Im embarrassed is all it is. I never should've don't anything with her but truthfully, I just needed something to keep my mind away from you and Kozume."
The girl placed a small kiss on his lips, "Youre cute. But you never should've been jealous. My heart was always yours."
