*The Next Week*

~During this new school week, Akaashi had gotten Y/N into detention three times.

Not one.

Three.

First, he caught her texting in class and assumed she was texting Kenma because of the smile on her face, so he informed the teacher.

Second, he told the same teacher she had clothing from another school in her locker which got her into more trouble than necessary.

And third, he caught her ditching school with Kenma so he reported her which got her another day of detention.

She was so angry that she sent him a text telling him what a fucked up person he was and that she hoped he was happy being an asshole and that he and Kanae deserved each other.

He thought it was funny since he dropped Kanae and blocked her on everything. Saying Kanae was pissed was truly an understatement.

After her detention was finished and she was home, Bokuto had came to pay her a visit.

"Seriously I don't understand how you still deal with Akaashi. If I were you, I wouldn't have dealt with him anymore!" She told him.

"Akaashi really isn't that bad of a person. He just has a funny way of showing he cares." The captain laughed.

She rose an eyebrow, "Cares? So you're telling me that him rejecting me, telling me he hates me, yelling at me for wearing Kenmas jacket and getting me detention three times in a row is his way of caring? Yeah, no."

Bokuto shrugged, "Maybe it's his way of telling you he doesn't think Kenmas good enough for you."

"He doesn't get a right to think anything. He's been nothing but an asshole to me for years and I'm just sick of it. He's the one that's not good enough for me. Not Kenma."

"Look. Akaashi doesn't get acknowledged at all when he's home. His mom and stepdad are almost never there and when they are, they don't even say a simple 'hi' to him. As far as I know, we're the only ones who really acknowledge his existence. He wasn't used to all the attention that you gave him. That's why he takes it the wrong way. His parents divorce really screwed up the definition of love for him. It's not entirely his fault that he's an asshole. This is why I cut him some slack." Bokuto explained.
