Hiromi's POV
I stared at Mori. He had a spear about an inch from a guy's forehead. The guy then bowed, "I'm Ritsu Kasanoda. Please let me be your apprentice, senpai." Wait... What's happening?
Haruhi came over after a few minutes. She explained the situation to me. Apparently, people fear Kasanoda because of his looks. Which is sad. I hate when people judge me based on my reading. Mori ended up accepting him as an apprentice.
---
I stared at Kasanoda. I feel sorry for him. The twins had him in a maid costume with cat ears on. The twins were laughing so hard he glared at them. The music room doors opened and I started walking over, we're closed. I can't let them see Kasanoda like this.
I said, "Hello, welcome to the host club. I'm sorry but we are currently..." He started laughing but he was covering his mouth. He was blushing and Kasanoda yelled at him. Uh oh...
-----
The next day the twins got Kasanoda ready to leave the club room. His hair was in dreadlocks, a green with yellow polka dot bandana around his neck, and a bear. Apparently, he needed a "lovely item" like Mitsukuni is to Takashi. Because it would take the "edge" off of Kasanoda.
But isn't everyone fine just the way they are? I sighed, I just can't... Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses.
It's like mom said, 'Although you may be strong at one thing you may be weak at another. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. You may hate reading but you're amazing with numbers. Don't let anyone drag you down cause you're strength is somewhere else. I love you, baby.'
I left the club room and looked to see him at the end of the corridor and turning the corner. I let out a sigh, his strength must be somewhere else. That's okay too.
-----
Today Kasanoda gave up on letting the twins style his items. I walked over to him, "There's no need to change. Your strength must just be somewhere else. Being yourself is the best thing, no matter what your strength is."
Kasanoda stared at me, "You aren't scared of me?"
I shook my head no, "No. You aren't threatening me at all." If anything you're peaceful. You aren't mean.
Kasanoda smiled, "That's exactly similar to what Haruhi told me. You're the only girl to think I'm not scary."
I gently smiled, "Well, have a good day, Kasanoda."
-----
Ritsu had a bird and he and Haruhi were holding it. I hope it gets better. Yet then I noticed red paint splatter onto Haruhi's uniform and the bird takes off flying. It's better, I felt a bright smile come to my face.
I rushed off to the club room to beat them there. Soon enough Haruhi came in and went to the changing rooms. Kasanoda came in. He found towels and started to go to Haruhi's changing room. I said, "Hold on! Haru is really shy! Don't go in!"
He said, "Oh... I didn't know Haruhi was like that." I sighed in relief.
The rest of the club came in. Hikaru yelled, "What did you see?"
I turned to him, "Shut it, Hikaru. I handled it! Don't worry, I knew Haruhi would be embarrassed. He's really shy."
Hikaru's eyes widened, "Wow, Hiromi..."
Kaoru said, "You beat all of us..."
In unison, they said, "To it."
Kasanoda said, "See what?"
The twins shrugged and said in unison, "I forgot."
I gently tugged my hair, "Hmm... If you guys had been late..." He would have seen her. That's not good.
Haruhi came out from behind me. Haruhi was surprised, "Guys? Why is everyone here?"
I stretched, "Well, they said to call it a day. Come on." I grabbed Haruhi's hand tugging on it. She followed me and we left the club room.
-----
I finally sat down after handing out all the cookies I made. I smiled as I looked around at all the girls enjoying the cookies. I finally noticed Haruhi and Kasanoda sitting together on a couch.
I went over, "Hey, Haru, are you guys okay?"
Haruhi looked up and finally noticed the whole room watching them. Haruhi shrugged, "Yeah, it's all good. We're just talking."
I nodded, "Alright, I'll be studying in the kitchen for the rest of the time."
She nodded with a smile, "I'll see you soon, Hiro."
---
When I walked down the halls at school I noticed everyone wasn't as scared to pass by Kasanoda anymore. Which is a success in my opinion. I am curious what his strength is... Maybe Haru knows.
I smiled while continuing onto our classroom. The hosts had dragged her away, which was fine. I got to class and sat down. I softly hummed to myself while running my hand through my hair.
