Nurse's Office - Melanie Martinez

"Perfect. Pas de deux - gentle, not too anticipated - land and pirouette - JOHNNY!"

Jimin's hands is suddenly on his knees, eyes closed with the sweat dripping down to the side of his face while he faintly hears Taemin scolding Johnny in the far reach in the back ground but he lost too much care to even pay attention to that. They've been going to this for the past five hours - five. A few breaks have came up here and there, but nothing that lasts more than five minutes.

It's intense. Everyone is tense.

In just three days it's the first show, a simple one before the big show in the upcoming next month.

Yet everyone, including Taemin, is pressing onto the dancers on perfecting their moves as they rehearse for it. No matter how close Jimin and Taemin are, doesn't mean he will cut him some slack.

If anything, he pushes Jimin harder.

If they can do this opening show perfect, then the big show will be even better.

They just have to keep practicing to get to perfection.

Yet the constant rhythm shifted after Johnny put Jimin down after the pas de deux, and he was spinning Jimin a bit too roughly. It's clear that he's stressed and frustrated with the practice, but that didn't stop Taemin from telling him off for that mistake of breaking character.

If anything, the instructor just got more pissed.

"We're done for today - Fuck, just go home and we'll pick up the rest tomorrow!"

Jimin still stayed with his hands on his knees, panting heavily. Since he's been eating and taking more care of himself, he does find himself to have more energy during practices than before. Even his temper had mellowed down and the stress doesn't weigh as hard as it did once upon a time.

That's why right now he isn't fighting back with Johnny or telling Taemin off for cutting practice for the day. Instead he just goes and lays on the floor, catching his breath.

No one paid any mind to him, and it's probably because they're afraid he might explode out on them. He's glad for it though, the last thing he needs is people fanning all up on his face in worry.

But someone did pay mind to him though, and he felt that presence squatting down beside him.

"How you holding up?"

Jimin opens his eyes, vision blurred for a moment but it goes away after a few more blinks and then focusing his eyes to Taemin.

Looking at him in slight concern.

"Just enough," He mutters, pushing the strands of hair away from his face, "Just give me a minute."

Taemin twitches a small smile but nods, getting upright and goes off to probably speak with the other instructor on tomorrow's practice. Jimin was left just thinking and recovering all on his own, letting his mind just wander over the steps in his head and think that perhaps the day before the performance he may have to break his little eating record.
