Am currently doing this at night on vacation so sorry if this was short

Tanjiro was currently at a graveyard, he alongside the other pillars and ubayashiki family were praying at the graves of uzui and his three wives. It caused many to lose a bit of hope due to Uzui bring one of the strongest and making the Corp lose a pillar

Tanjiro stayed quiet and had poked his eyes earlier making them red and it tricked everyone as they thought he was sad but he was actually glad uzui was dead since he didn't like him to begin with

Now tanjiro was with Shinobu as they talked to each other over uzui's death and his wives, Shinobu was sad to lose one of her comrades but tanjiro being who he is comforted her

Tanjiro was in the butterfly estate and drinking tea with Shinobu, tanjiro rubbed her back as Shinobu drank her tea in silence before speaking

"I can't believe it........"
"I know, tengen was a remarkable person and so were his wives. I hope they enjoying their life up there"

Shinobu hum in response, a few minutes later a kakushi came into the garden before bowing his head

"Am terrible sorry to come at a bad time but master kamado your estate is finished"
"I see, thank you for telling me and you may leave"
"Yes master kamado"

The kakushi left quietly as tanjiro placed his head on Shinobu's shoulder before holding her hand

"Shinobu I promise to protect everyone here, even the pillars but know that uzui death was not in vain, we shall avenge are comrade and kill muzan"
"I know but I can't bear to lose another pillar especially you tanjiro......"

Shinobu couldn't lose another one of her comrades, especially tanjiro as she loved him but didn't told him and if he died then she would only fall deeper into hole of revenge to kill all demons especially upper moon two

Tanjiro on the other hand didn't care about uzui nor the other pillars except Shinobu, killing one of the strongest made his plan exceed farther then he had thought

The plan was to be one of the trusted members of the Corp and start leading the hashira into traps set by tanjiro and the upper moons to kill them off and nobody can point a finger at tanjiro due to being one of their trusted members and can be blame on the upper moons

The plan changed a bit with Shinobu in the mix so tanjiro would spare her and anybody he chooses. Standing up tanjiro bows to Shinobu as he gives her a flower before saying

"Shinobu if we win then I would like for everyone to live happily and peacefully, then we could finally have a tomorrow. I pray for your safety Shinobu"

Then walking away tanjiro goes to his estate while Shinobu looks at the flower, Shinobu swore that she will get stronger and protect tanjiro and finally have a future where they can live together peacefully

With tanjiro

Tanjiro walks past ubayashiki's home which was in the center of HQ surrounded by other estates, tanjiro had his estate build in the corner of wall so it would be easier to communicate with his family

The day quickly set as tanjiro looks at the wall seeing the wisteria trees surrounding HQ, tanjiro had been making a map of HQ and looking for weak points but it didn't had any so tanjiro requested his estate be near the corner

Tanjiro walked closer to the direction of his estate but only heard his own footsteps and the wind blowing, it had been quiet as everyone been in their estates to mourn the death of uzui

Tanjiro had took this to his advantage to finish up the map of HQ, turns out not many pillars lived here as some had their estates build near HQ and it made it easier for tanjiro when his family attacks HQ
