Tanjiro, zenitsu and Inosuke were currently staying in a old women's who gave them a room to rest and plenty to eat, now it was morning and tanjiro saw Inosuke's eyes flutter opened

"Hm? Zenitsu, Inosuke is waking up so I suggest to step back it might get.......ugly"

Zenitsu nodded before going to the father side of the room as Inosuke yelled and jumped up

"Where he bell am I?!"
"Shush you pig, we are staying at a old women house so be respectful"
"Why should I?! I don't take orders from you!"
"Actually you do"

Then tanjiro started to explain the fight they had at the mansion and how Inosuke said that he would take orders from tanjiro if he lost

"Now you take orders from me, first order you be quiet, second you be respectful to everyone"
"Wha-but you!-gah! Fine! I'll be quiet!"
"As in now........"

Then the day went by as the trio got to eating their breakfast and getting ready to their next mission which was to head to natagumo mountain, the trio got ready and were at the entrance of the house

When the old women came out and started to bless them on a safe trip

"What is she doing?"

Inosuke said trying not to yell and tanjiro quickly answered his questions

"She is blessing us on a safe trip"
" 'safe trip' what the hell is that?"
"To be safe means for us to be unharmed or injured on our mission"

Unknown to Inosuke he felt a warm little feeling in his chest as if he stood in the warm sun light

"I wouldn't mind hearing that"

The trio left and headed straight to natagumo mountain

Time skip

The trio were walking on a dirt path and they noticed it was already nighttime so they stayed a bit cautious, the arrived at the four of the mountain and tanjiro immediately smelled blood and different scents

Zenitsu could hear the screaming and shook in fear whilst in the break of tears

"Zenitsu..."
"Y-yes?"
"I know your afraid but please be calm, you have me and Inosuke to protect you so don't start crying please"
"O-ok I'll try"
"That's the spirt!"

Tanjiro then gave zenitsu a warm smile making the yellow hair boy calmed down a bit as the trio marched forward to the mountain, hearing distance screaming the group ran deeper into the mountains

Then tanjiro smelled somebody coming towards them snd told the rest to stop, a boy their age walked towards them with a bloody arm and bruises all over his body

"A-are you demon slayers?!"
"Yes we are, what's the situation"
"There's a lower moon killing us off with some other demons! W-wait! W-what rank are you guys?"
"Am a mitzunoe, the rest of them our mizunoto"
"What?! T-they should have sent a hashira!"
"Ok then I'll go ahead, Inosuke your with me and Zenitsu stay here with our friend here and if you see any more demon slayer group up and gather the injured and take them to the entrance"

Tanjiro then started to walk away with Inosuke jogging along with him

"S-stop! You'll die!"
"Oh right! Zenitsu bandages up his wounds please"

Tanjiro then tossed Zenitsu a bandage as the teen could only watch as tanjiro and Inosuke run into the forest whilst his vision goes dark

Running the two demon slayers run into the forest and immediately a sword almost cuts tanjiro but he dodged it and saw several of the demon slayers moving weirdly
