This is where it all ends part 7

Sorry for the late update everyone but I had a awful cough and most of my family were sick so I had to stay in bed and rest while doing missing work from school but am feeling a little better now so enjoy this chapter

Running through the forest towards the city tanjiro ran to get to the others, unfortunately he was split up with everyone else and ended up 5 miles away from everyone but managed to get teleported a little more closer to the city

Tanjiro was focused on running which was a bad move because he tripped over something causing him to fall on the ground

"Ow! What the hell?!"

Tanjiro picked himself up and turning his head to see what he tripped over, immediately he fell on his knees to find Nakime's biwa with blood on it. Knowing full well what happened tanjiro let tears roll down his cheeks in utter despair

Nakime was a second mother figure to him but she might as well have been his second mother after daki, she was so loving and caring it broke Tanjiro's heart hearing that she didn't have anyone to love nor care for her

Now tanjiro clutches the only thing that was left of his mother, he grit his teeth and quickly wipe off his tears before placing the biwa up in a tree for him to retrieve later

He sighed and looked towards the sky seeing the once night sky almost gone, there was only 4 hours until day break so tanjiro ran at full speeds towards the city

With the others

Kokushibou along side with gyokko, gyomei and Shinobu stared down muzan who looked at all of them with nothing but rage, betrayal and sadness

"Why......WHY!? WHY ARE YOU HELPING THOSE PIECES OF SHITS?!"
"Muzan please listen! Tanjiro is alive and we-"
"NO! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY LIES! YOU DARE COME TO SPEAK WITH ME WHEN THOSE MURDERS ARE HERE?!"
"Muzan list-"
"ENOUGH! I HAD IT WITH ALL YOU TRAITORS!"

Then in a literal flash the fight began, Kokushibou with gyomei lead a charge towards muzan deflecting his attacks and having mitsuri use her long rang attacks to slash at muzan

Then gyutaro and daki attacked muzan from behind while gyutaro send several of his poisonous blood slashes at muzan

The demon king huffed in annoyance before dodging the attacks, all of the upper moons were already experiencing the effects of muzan's power fading with the transformation being 67 percent complete thus making every demon under his control severely weakened

All the upper moons now had barely any power left in them only 33 percent of their power left to fight and help the hashira against muzan, Kokushibou delivered his 6th form but to his frustration the power behind the attack was weak

"No! If our power decreases any further then everyone else's are done for!"
"Moon breathing, eighth form: moon-dragon ringtail!"

Kokushibou's shouted sending a giant frontal attack towards muzan, muzan just smirked then dodged the attack and let out a shout creating a shockwave sending some of the hashira and upper moons flying back and crashing into buildings

Gyomei, Kokushibou, Rengoku and gyutaro stood before muzan, they had to give their allies time to recover before any of them could fight so only those four were able to fight

"I HAD IT! I HAD ENOUGH OF THIS GAME!!"

Muzan's eyes glowed bright red and immediately all the upper moons coughed or had blood leak out their eyes. Luckily muzan was too weak to kill them completely only causing some internal damage

This was enough to weaken an already weakened upper moons giving them the high chance of dying any time, Kokushibou gripped his sword, gyokko got out his pot, gyutaro calmed his breathing, daki prepared her sashes. All of them were ready to lay down their lives for the greater good
