I get back home. "Perry, there's a letter for you. It's kept on the centre table." I hear my mother's voice. Wait what? Is she back?

"Hey Mum!" I greet her, excitedly. She has been away for more than a week this time and I can't be happy enough to see her right now!

"I need to attend an office party with your Dad. Not sure when will we return. Dinner is ready. Do serve yourself on time." Mom says and walks towards her bedroom.

The little smile that had appeared on my face after listening to her voice, after what felt like ages, fades away. I was so wrong to think about spending some quality time with her. She really has no time for her daughter. I don't like my parents. They are always busy with their own life and business. The only person who used to love me and care for me was my sister! I just miss her so much!

I find the letter on the centre table and pick it up, running upstairs. Right now I have two letters. Should I read Eleanor's letter first? Or the secret admirer's? I choose the secret admirer.

Dear Lily,

I’ve longed to write to you in a while, letting you know how I feel inside. You gave me everything to make my life glow, and I can’t thank you enough for being the sweetest thing in the world.

How can I describe my feelings for you in this short letter? This space won’t be enough to contain everything I feel about you. You keep showing me that in every age and any place, true love exists, and I’m so happy to have found you when I did.

Having you in my world has brought me more satisfaction than anything can bring, including money. You are the best thing that came my way, and I feel alive each time I get to see your lovely face again. Have a beautiful day, baby.

My hands tremble as I finish reading the letter. How did he know my name, 'Lily'? My sister used to call me by that name. I used to call her Rose and she used to call me Lily. Apart from my sister and my parents, I don't think anybody knows about it.

I keep walking to and fro around my room thinking deeply about this. This is literally a love letter, oh god help! How do I get rid of the secret admirer?

I turn around when I hear a knock on my room door. It's Harry. Shit. I hide both the letters in some drawer, fully turning towards him.

"The main door was open" He says with a confused look on his face.

"What? How the fuck can my parents be so irresponsible!" I freak out.

"Calm down, Angel! Mistakes happen. How far is the painting, huh?" Harry says.

We settle down on the bed and arrange the painting stuffs. The painting is almost over. The only error is that, I just fail to paint the waves, with proper shades.

"I never manage to get it right" I sigh all of a sudden to my own surprise. "I wish I could just cover that part up."

"Then do it" Harry says quietly in reply, and I glance at him, trying my best not to scoot to the side when I realise how close we are.

I shake my head lightly. "I can't colour the waves. It looks weird all the time." I stop talking right away when a sudden idea strikes me, seeming so obvious that I didn't understand how hadn't I come up with it before. "I could colour the water entirely first!" I say excitedly all of a sudden.

"I could colour the water completely, maybe some nice colour that would go with the mood of the painting. Something light, like pink, maybe, or light blue? What's your favourite colour..." My words die between my lips as I turn to look at him again, losing my train of thoughts as soon as my eyes meet his mint green ones.
