I pick my bag and walk down the stairs. It's almost 5 pm.
"Bye Mum!"
"Don't be late sweetie!" Mom says.
I climb up the stairs and ring the doorbell. A totally decked-up Tracey answers the door.
"Are you going somewhere?" I ask, staring at the amount of highlighter she has used.
"Yes! ON A DATE!! With Liam!!"
She is so excited to go on a date with Liam that she almost forgot about the assignment plan she had with me. I sigh.
"But we were supposed to go to Zayn's house and complete the assignments," I remark.
"Perry! Don't spoil my mood by talking about assignments now! Please!! I'll do those later. You can go by yourself right?"
"Yes.." I murmur.
Suddenly I sense someone standing behind me.
"Niall!?" Tracey speaks up.
I turn around to find it's indeed him.
"Uh Tracey I have some information from Liam," Niall says.
"What information?" Tracey asks.
"Liam told me to inform you that he won't be able to go out with you today. He has got some urgent work." Niall says.
"Urgent work!? Why didn't he inform that to me, himself ?" Tracey asks, almost on the verge of crying.
Her cute little date unfortunately got cancelled. Poor Tracey.
"He had to leave for his mother's house immediately. He was with me when he got a call from his mother. So, he told me to inform you and maybe give you some company" Niall explains.
"I need no fucking company!" She shouts and bangs the door on our face.
She has completely lost herself. She is so in love with her boyfriend. I wonder why people act all crazy and weird while they are in a relationship.
"Are you going somewhere?" Niall suddenly asks.
"Yes, I am going to a friend's house to complete some assignments. Tracey was supposed to go with me but maybe she forgot about it because of her date. I think we should leave her alone for now."
"Yes, we should. Oh by the way I found this near the staircase! Your name is written on it." Niall hands me a parcel.
It's Sunday already? How did I forget! So time for another parcel! But why did the delivery man not come this time.
"Did you see anyone leaving it over there? Some delivery man, maybe?" I ask
"No. I just found it down there near one of the stairs." Niall replies.
I run down the stairs and barge into my house with the parcel and close the door behind me. I run up the stairs and could already hear my mom calling me."Perry is that you? Didn't you leave?"
"I just forgot something Mum", I cry.
I immediately unpack the parcel. My hands go numb.
