After tossing and turning all night, the next morning rolls in. Lioana wakes up to silence. Dead silence. Her pointer finger taps on her other hand vigorously with impatience as she ponders on yesterday's events.

JJ slams the door to Lio's house behind him and throws the keys on the counter.

"What was that all about?"

"What? Me blatantly speaking the truth?"

"Just because it was true didn't mean you had to say it," JJ runs his hands through his hair. "You were acting like a child. You guys shouldn't have teamed up on Kie like that."

"Oh, so you're on her side?!"

"I'm not on anyone's side!"

"Well, clearly you are, otherwise you wouldn't be backing her up!"

"You know what, Lio? I am on someone's side. I'm on John B's side." JJ sighs loudly, "And where is he? No one has a fucking clue. And you and Pope double-teaming Kie is not the time."

"Don't tell me what I can and can't say. She's a lying, fraudulent bitch that needs to own up to her actions."

JJ steps towards Lio, cupping her face in his hands.

"And you, my Lio, need to grow the hell up. This isn't middle school. Let the past go."

"Go."

"What?" JJ's hands drop from her face.

"I said, go."

"Me? Right now?"

"Yes, J! I said for you to leave!"

"Okay," JJ whispers and slowly backs up towards the door. "Are you sure you don't want me to stay?"

"JJ, I made up my mind. Get out of my house."

And with that, JJ closed the front door to the small, rickety building that Lio calls home.

Her blinking is in sync with the ticking ceiling fan that happens every few seconds because of a worn-down part; her breathing is slow and steady, yet heavy and angry. Her mind overwhelms her with the mistakes of the day before until she finally snaps.

"Fuck!" Lio screams, causing her voice to shakes the very house she is in.

Quickly sitting up, she grabs a glass from her nightstand and chucks it at the wall across from her.
