A/N: Imma go ahead and tell you guys how long it took me to make this gif... I had to save the gif, screen record it, trim it, go to TikTok and trim it more, save as a live photo on TikTok, go to Momento, buy a premium thing, and save it as a gif. Then I redid it like three times because it was still over 3MB... thx for coming to my ted talk <3

The Pogues gather around a campfire at Rixon's. Lio sits in between Pope and JJ on a log, while Kie and John B sit on another.

"Hey, guys. So, like, my dad's already gonna kill me, so what's this mandatory meeting about?" Pope questions.

John B points finger guns in JJ's direction.

"Might as well tell him, man. Before we're gaffed," JJ shrugs.

"You ready for this?" John B looks around at his fellow Pogues.

"Yeah," Kie nods.

"So, the gold never went down with the Royal Merchant."

"Here we go again with this..." Pope scoffs.

"No, alright? Wait. Hear him out, alright?" JJ leans forward, attempting to convince Pope to listen.

"It's been here the whole time."

"Here... Here, as in where John B? Be more specific," Lio asks with furrowed eyebrows.

"It's on the island."

"Are you serious?" Kie asks in disbelief. "Oh my gosh."

"I'd like to voice my skepticism," Pope states.

"I agree with Pope," Lio says, pointing towards Pope.

"I'm sure you guys would." John B stands up, walking towards his backpack, "But, can I please present you with my evidence?"

"Proceed," Pope sighs.

"Alright! So, in my backpack," John B says rather dramatically. "I have a letter from Denmark Tanny."

"Who the hell's that?" Kie inquires.

"Denmark Tanny was a slave that survived the Royal Merchant wreck. Check this out." John B hands the paper to Kiara, "Here you go."

"What?" Kie grabs the paper from JB's hand.

"Okay, slaves weren't mentioned as crew members on the ship. But my dad, he found the complete manifest; that was his big discovery. So Tanny used the gold from the Merchant to buy his freedom."

Kie whistles and passes the paper to JJ.

"After that, he bought his farm. Drumroll please, because that farm is..."

"Is?" Lio says rather impatiently.

"Tannyhill Plantation."

"Tannyhill?" Kie asks.
