Akari woke up early the next morning feeling something on the side of her head.
She turned to see Kyojuro, she had her head rested on his shoulder while his head was slightly leaning on hers.
She blushed and gently removed his head so she could stand up.
It was still early, the sun was just barely rising as she sat on the brick wall once more.
Her crow landed on her arm with a note attached to it.
Dear Suji Akari,
This is Ubuyashiki Kagaya, i've sent this letter for the recommednation to become a pillar. You currently have 107 demon kills while it is only needed 50 to become a pillar. I wish to have you with me my child so please awnser back soon.
-Kagaya
Akari held her breath. No way... She couldn't believe it. Yet something told her she wasn't ready.
She believed in her abilities but nothing seemed to stand out. She felt there was something she needed to complete before she took on the role.
Akari wrote back saying that she wouldn't like the position. There is something she must complete beforehand.
Kyojuro began to wake up as Akari sent her crow back with the message.
He stared at her not realizing it until she waved her hand in front of his face.
"Hey hey Kyojuro!" Akari said a bit loud so he would snap out of it. He shook his head and turned away blushing.
Akari stared at him for a moment before asking him something. "You supposed to be the next Flame pillar correct?" Akari asked as she turned her head back to the rising sun.
Kyojuro nodded a bit confused as to why she was asking. "Yes why do you ask?"
"No reason. Anyways" Akari said facing im again. "I need to head out for another mission. Good luck" She said and quickly disappeared.
He stared for a moment until his crow told him to head back home. He waited a moment before blushing madly.
I'm really in love with her aren't I. He thought to himself. Dammit

2 years passed before the 2 saw or heard from each other again.
Akari had just finished up with a mission and was on her way to the next one when her crow came back, surprisingly.
"Hmm? Azu whats wrong?" She said as the crow whispered something in her ear.
"I see... Good job Kyojuro....." She had recived news that Kyojuro had become the Flame Hashira.
She was delighted but at the same time a bit unnerved.
She shook her head as she quickly wrote a small congratulation letter to him via crow.
Azu flew off and Akari continued on her mission.
She killed the demon rather quickly before she found herself in the same abandoned town she and Kyojuro met up at 2 years prior.
Once more she was sitting on the brick wall watching the sun rise. Damn its happening again... Akari told herself as a memory of Kyojuro and her popped up.
Akari sighed as she realized something that could change her life. I'm really falling for him huh?
She sat watching the sun rise when her crow came by.
"Caw! Report to the village east where you sha'll meet up with another slayer for a joint mission." Azu said as he landed on Akari's arm.
Akari nodded her head but then realized there was a note of Azu's foot. She picked out the letter immediately recognizing Kyojuro's handwriting.
Dear Akari,
Thank you for congratulating me. I hope we can meet again soon.
-Kyojuro
Akari stared at the letter as her cheeks began to flush bright red. C'mon not now....
Sometimes Akari would sit for hours thinking about her best friend without even noticing.
She stood up remembering she had a mission and headed for the destination point.
Akari reached the east town within 10 minutes. There was a boy with a box on his back standing there gathering some type of information.
She walked up behind him and tapped his shoulder lightly.
"Hello" Akari said bluntly.
He jumped a bit before thanking the person in front of him and turning behind him to face Akari.
"Oh a child?" He said as he looked down a bit at her, since she is only 5,2.
"I'm 15 for 1. And I was told there was a joint mission. I'm guessing your going to be my partner then. Follow." Akari said not allowing him to talk before she began to walk off.
He quickly followed her realizing that the younger girl was quite fast for her age.
"Hurry up your slowing down" Akari said the to boy as she jumped up onto a roof.
"Stay down on the ground and gather information. I'll stay above and check out anything suspicious." She said to the boy as he watching in amazment as she disappeared.
He nodded and continued to walk. That girl knows about Nezuko...i can feel it....
Nightfall came around and Akari met up with the boy with a box while he was talking to another man.
"Oh yeah.." She said as she apporaoched the 2. "I never got your name what was it again?"
"Oh its Tanjiro. Kamado Tanjiro." Tanjiro said as he faced the man and nodded.
"He's willing to help us look for the demon so we should get going." Tanjiro said as the 2 started to walk.
About 20 minutes went by and the demon finally appeared.
"Stay back...." Tanjiro said as he put a hand in front of Akari.
"Baka...." Akari whispered and swiftly cut the demons neck of without anyone seeing.
"I see. So you can switch with the other 2 that are underground? I'm guessing your triplets then." Akari said as she shrugged.
Tanjiro sat amazing at her speed until he shook his head realizing one of the others was coming up behind him.
A loud bang was heard as the demon hit the ground.
"That makes more since now. Your siblings right?" Akari asked as the younger sister that just so happened to be a demon kicked the other one away from hurting her older brother.
Tanjiro nodded unsure of how the blue haired girl would react.
"Tanjiro. Take the one underground, nezuko can stall the one up here. I'll look out for any more." Akari said as she jumped onto the fence waving her hand in a motion that signaled them to begin.
"Lets go." Akari said simply as Tanjiro dipped down into the swampy area.
About 5 minutes later a mix of water and wind was heard underground, signaling that Tanjiro had killed the demon.
Nezuko was about to get stabbed before Tanjiro jumped out and quickly killed it.
After Tanjiro killed the demon he turned up to me realizing I was just standing there watching.
"Sayonara" Akari said as she disappeared giving a small wave to the Kamado Siblings.
