25)Full Moon(Minor Manga Spoilers) (1213)

Akari stared at the 7 slayers who where left in her training. Everyone else had already continued on.

It was about 2 a.m and she could tell that they where all tired. She wasn't even a tiny bit exhausted but Kyojuro was leaned up against the wall behind her asleep.

Akari turned to face him and gave a small smile before analyzing the slayers movements.

She currently had them doing simple hand to hand combat and yet they couldn't even focus on that.

Akari just stared at them a bit confused as to how this was difficult for them. She quickly stood up and yelled out to them.

"Wrap it up!" She called causing Kyojuro to wake up a bit, he wasn't fully awake but he tilted his head up. Akari stood in front of Kyojuro, that ensured him that he could go back to sleep.

Once they had cleaned up the floors and left Akari walked over to the sleeping Kyojuro.

"Kyo....come on we should get going." She whispered poking him in the forehead.

He slowly woke up a bit seeing Akari a little to close, causing his face and ears to go beet red.

She tilted her head a bit confused before standing up. That gave Kyojuro the chance to hold his face trying to calm down.

"I wrapped up training we should leave." She said lending him a hand which he gratefully took.

" thanks..." Kyojuro groaned, he was tired and didn't want to go anywhere honestly.

Of course Akari knew this but she was going to drag him around because she didn't have a good grasp on when most people sleep, eat, drink, etc.

Yet this night was a little different. She wasn't going in random circles, it was like she had a set place that she wanted to go to.

Kyojuro just stared at her with anticipation .

"The meadow?" He asked once the 2 arrived. Akari slowly walked towards the east side of the meadow and sat down. Kyojuro followed more slowly.

She sat down and looked up, staring at the moon. Kyojuro followed but once he sat his eyes widened.

Tonight was a full moon, Akari would disappear for a night every month, she must've been coming here to see the full moon.

Kyojuro just stared at it for a moment but his thoughts where interrupted by Akari.

"Its beautiful isn't it?" She whispered but the gleam in her eye was one of a child seeing there favorite stuffed animal that they lost.

She was admiring something that nobody thought about.

Kyojuro turned to face Akari feeling very tired still. "Akari I know-" he started but was interrupted once more.

"Come...." She whispered and stood up, he really had no choice but to follow.

They walked in silence for a while until they came upon Gyomei's residence.

"Go down to my room. This was closer but it's alright.." Akari whispered as the 2 walked inside.

Kyojuro walked down the hallway silently before turning into Akari's room.

Just as he went in Gyomei walked out into the living room.

"Oh Akari your back?" He said as she walked into the living room.

"Mm, Kyojuro was tired so i'm letting him sleep in my room." She said as a light dusk of pink covered her cheeks.

"I see, did you drag him to see the moon tonight?" Gyomei asked as her cheeks were now completely red and her ears lit up to.

Gyomei laughed quietly as he made tea for the both of them.

"Come i'll watch with you." He said as the 2 grabbed there tea and walked outside. Even though Gyomei couldn't see he and Akari would frequently watch the full moon.

Kyojuro Pov

I was having trouble falling asleep, my brain was filled with thoughts of Akari since I was currently laying on her bed.

It smelled like her, vanilla, it drove my mind crazy. Since I couldn't sleep I silently walked out into the hallway, hearing Gyomei-san and Akari talking.

I guess i'll eavesdrop a bit...

3rd person

Akari and Gyomei sat in silence for a few moments.

"So, how are those doing?" Gyomei said as Akari's ears went beet red.

"G-G-Gyomei-san!" She said a little loudly, causing him to laugh. "But if you really want to know......their getting worse......" She muttered still embarrased.

"So when do you plan to confess to him?" He asked cheekily, he knew what he was doing and actually found it quite funny.

"I don't!" She yelled as her face lit up 5 different colors. "Ok maybe I do......" She corrected herself silently.

Kyojuro sat with wide eyes before peeking out at them through a window.

"Come on Akari, admit it. You fell head over heels for him." He said causing Akari to aggressively sip the last bits of tea out of her cup.

"Do we really have to talk abou-" Akari said but suddenly started coughing.

She covered her mouth quickly before bending over because of the cough. Her breathing was deep and abnormal.

She's getting worse.... Gyomei thought reluctantly.

Akari slowly stopped the coughing and sighed. "I guess that's not going away anytime soon." She dropped her hands that where covered in blood beside her.

"Oi oi! Stop yelling would ya! I can hear you from my room!" The aggressive wind pillar said poking his angry head out of the doorway.

Akari cringed slightly before waving him off. "Sorry..."

He walked away but saw Kyojuro sticking his head out of the doorway from the room next door.

"What are you doing here?" He asked quietly before following him into the room and sitting down near the window.

"I was listening in on there conversation." Kyojuro sighed as Sanemi just sat down with an angry huff.

"Gyomei-san you shouldn't worry about me too much." Akari whispered just loud enough for the 2 men to hear.

"Akari how can I not worry about you? Your 17 and the effects are supposed to start at 20-21." He said a bit to harsh.

"Well maybe its because-" Akari started but was interrupted by her father figure.

"That's probably it but does it change at all?" He asked a rather odd question.

Akari sighed and nodded. "Whenever i'm near him I feel like my lungs are going to collapse in a fit of coughing..."

Once more they sat in silence. Sanemi and Kyojuro exchanged glances, one full of semi-understanding and one of total utter confusion.

"Wait so she's in love with someone?" Sanemi whispered.

"Well according to Gyomei she fell for them a while ago." Kyojuro said with only the slightest bit of disappointment. Yet Sanemi was smart enough to catch on.

"And your worried that its not you." He said with a cheeky smirk causing Kyojuro's face to go deep shades of red.

"How long had it been since you fell for him?" Gyomei asked, practically reading Rengoku's mind.

"A-ah....." Akari stuttered with a red face. "F-f-four years...."

Hey sorry I haven't been updating its been kinda hard since I just moved but I have some chapters ready to post its just my Dad had to connect the internet so when this comes out there'll probably be like 3 others!😀
