21)Pillar Training Part 2 (Manga Spoilers) (855)

Akari and Kyojuro where currently sitting in the butterfly estate since Shinobu had given them permission to use the training section.

"Oh Akari- chan~~" A yellow haired boy said as he walked into the room. The boar head and a couple others walked in behind him.

Akari sighed as she sat down behind the table with lots of cups on it. Kyojuro stared at her as he leaned up against the wall.

The 7 slayers sat staring at the 2 pillars waiting.

"Zenitsu, pick 2 slayers and sit." She said demandingly as Kyojuro just stood there and watched.

"You have 1 goal. You must splash the water on me. Thats it." She said as one of the slayers began to reach for a cup.

Before she could even touch it Akari splashed water on the 3 of them. They sat not even flinching.

"Next." She said as she waved her hand signaling for the 3 to move as another pair sat.

"Begin" Akari said as she continued to block all there hands since there was 3 of them.

"Honestly.." Akari muttered and splashed them all with a cup of water. "You need to watch my whole body not just one part. And pay attention." She said strictly as she waved them off.

The last group that had consisted of Zenitsu and 2 others had been laying on the ground completely defeated.

They only had one task, to simply come by and touch one of the cups while Akari was playing.

"THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!" Zenitsu yelled as the other 2 nodded.

Another group of 3 came up since another slayer had arrived and sat in front of Akari.

"Zenitsu and you 2 go to the side of the room and practice your breathing. I want your wounds healed before you continue" Akari said as they rotated.

The group she had just worked with was trying to get passed Kyojuro while she just continued lazily stopping them from even picking up the cups.

"Alright next!" She said as 5 more slayer walked through the doors just as she splashed water on her current group.

Akari glanced towards Kyojuros group and it seemed that they gave up a long tine ago.

Another 3 slayers approached Akari and she recognized Tanjiro among them.

"Hello Tanjiro!" She said brightly as they began to reach for cups.

Akari swatted there hands away from the cups and she blocked and faked to throw the water at them.

Once she'd had enough playing with them she splashed water causing Tanjiro to jump as the other 2 had no reaction almost at all.

"Good You did well, Switch!" Akari yelled before turning her head a bit towards Tanjiro.

"Stay here. We're playing another round just the 2 of us." Akari said as a bead of sweat ran down the side of Tanjiro's face.

The 2 began and had everyone watching in amazement. He was actually able to do quite well against Akari despite not having anyone else beside him to help.

Akari smirked as she grabbed the cup Tanjiro went for and splashed it in his face.

"Squads 1, 2, and 3 break time!" Akari yelled signaling for Kyojuro to join them. "You take a break to i'll be fine here" she said sympathetically.

After Kyojuro's fight with Akaza about 7 months back he had ended up partially blind in his left eye. This made it a bit more challenging for him as well.

He gave her a smile smile before heading of where Shinobu had decided to help a bit by preparing snacks and water.

Akari continued to train the demon slayers for a bit longer until something very unexpected happened.

Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke faced off against Akari in the water challenge.

Akari began to sweat a bit as she'd been moving her hands around for 10 minutes. She tried to make it end but the 3 in front of her where holding her back. Mostly Tanjiro, plus she had to be aware of the group before her since they'd been getting quite good at manoeuvring around Kyojuro as well.

Tanjiro picked up one of the waters realizing that Akari's left side was completely open. Zenitsu and Inosuke had her busy enough for a moment.

He only had a second and without thinking he splashed the water in the center of her face.

She looked a bit taken back at first until her lips curved upwards into a smile.

"Tanjiro! Inosuke! And Zenitsu! They are the first ones to pass this training!" She announced before standing up and wiping the water off her face. "Congrats" she said giving the 3 a small smile.

"I suppose it's time I rest..." She said before wrapping up the training and such for the night.

"Goodnight Kyojuro..." She whispered as Rengoku walked out the door with a smile before replying. "Goodnight, Akari."

Ahhhh yeah sorry i wasn't updating but I've been kinda stressed lately. I'm starting school next week so i'll probably only post once or twice a week at most. I also started Attack on Titan so I blame it on that as well.👍
