12. Serenade : SB19 Pablo

I once wished to be his girl. The girl who he serenades. Parang dati lang, pangarap ko lang na mapansin niya ako at kung suswertehin, maharana sana. But wishes really do come true.

"Choose a song and I will sing it to you. Haharanahin kita."

I can't help but to smile nang sabihin iyon ni Paulo. He really knows what makes me happy, what makes me feel the butterflies in my stomach. Kuhang-kuha niya talaga ako.

"Eto, try this one, Double Take by Dhruv." I said.

"Yan? Sus, basic. Sige."

I chuckled softly bago ko inihanda ang sarili ko.

He's with his guitar, as always. He started to strum and I'm just intently watching him.

'Calm yourself Faith, nagsisimula palang siya' I said to myself. Paano ba naman, kaunting linya palang 'yon na nakakanta niya but I can't control my smile anymore. I can't hide it.

I chuckled softly when he changed a word from the lyrics.

At parang gusto kong sagutin ang kinakanta niya. I want to say 'Yes Pau, I feel the love" but I just keep it to myself. Hahayaan ko na muna na kiligin ang sarili ko ngayon.

"Pau" I suddenly called his name bago pa niya makanta ang mga susunod na lyrics. "Are you willing to spend a lifetime with me?" I asked him all of a sudden.

Paulo stopped strumming on his guitar and he reached for my hand.

"Willing pa sa willing. You're the only woman I wanna spend a lifetime with. To build a family with." he seriously responded to my question. "I want to spend my whole life with you. I'll serenade you many times. Kahit pa magsawa ka na sa boses ko, hindi ako titigil na haranahin ka." seriousness and sincerity is evident on his voice.

"Just so you know, I will never ever get tired hearing your voice." I said.

Hindi nalang siya nagsalita at nginitian nalang ako.

He just continued singing, he continued to serenade me. And all I can do is to watch him and to listen to his lovely and soothing voice.
