Chapter 7- It's not love

[Time skip: 10 pm in my room]

Lying on my bed and reading my favorite book while listening to a song, I was interrupted when I heard a knock on my door. Removing my headphones, I walked up to the door, opening it to reveal Ji-ah

"Y/n, the boys are coming over! We're having a sleepover!" Ji-ah said excitedly. Great! It's like cherry on top for the cake! One more round with that horny ass and I'm lying on the bed for the rest of the week

"Enjoy! Don't bother me, I have works" I replied and before she could reply, I shut the door. Grabbing two more books, I flopped myself on my bed and continued what I was doing. Few minutes later, I heard some noises from outside indicating the boys are here. After a good 40 minutes of reading, I went out to get something to eat only to be greeted by my beloved bestfriend and her boyfriend's group

"Y/n, what happened? Everything okay?" Ji-ah asked in concern

"I'm fine, I came to get some water" I replied as they nodded while I made my way to the kitchen to get some water and also some food. Taking the food and water, I went back to my room not wanting to start any conversation. Yes, I'm always like this, not interested in talking to someone only Ji-ah was the one to handle me. Sometimes I wonder, how could I date a guy in past with such an attitude? didn't he feel suffocated? Is that why he left-

Shrugging off my thoughts and trying to control my tears, I continued reading my book until it was almost 10 pm and there was no sound coming from outside, that means they slept, probably. I should go to sleep too, I have dance practice tomorrow. Packing my stuffs for tomorrow, I was interrupted when I heard a knock on my window. It's past 10 pm, is it a ghost or a thief? Grabbing the bat from behind the bed, I stood before the curtains. Opening the curtains, I was about to hit the person behind it when I heard a scream 

Opening my eyes I found Taehyung on the other standing on a ladder

"What are you doing here!?" I asked

"Were you just going to hit me with that baseball bat!?" He replied

"What are you doing by the window?!"

"I had to or other's will doubt us!?" He spoke as I nodded

"Let me in will you?" He spoke as I opened the window for him to come inside

"Now care to explain what are you doing here at this hour? I almost thought of you as a ghost" I spoke as I kept the bat behind the bed

"Ghost? Will you ever see such a handsome ghost?" he replied proudly making me roll my eyes. "Handsome my foot" I mumbled clear enough for him to hear making him chuckle

"Your bed is nice!" He spoke while sitting on my bed

"Don't even think about doing anything" I warned him

"I'm just complementing your bed! You're dirty minded not me" He replied with a smirk as I rolled my eyes and continued packing stuffs for tomorrow's dance practice

"Don't tell me, you're dancer too?" Taehyung asked quiet surprised as I nodded

"Jimin and Hoseok Hyung are too!" 

"I know, Jimin already told me-" we were interrupted when we heard some noises from outside. Maybe it's just the wind, it'll rain anytime. Shrugging off all thoughts, Taehyung asked,

"You don't look like a dancer"

"It's been almost a year since I last danced" I replied with a small smile

"Why?"

"Because of my ex-boyfriend. He said that he didn't like people seeing me in short clothes and dancing and me who was blinded by love followed everything he said" I replied with a chuckle

"Was he abusive?" Taehyung asked with slight of a concern

"No, but what he did was not less than being abusive" I spoke while I sat next to him

"You-u know you can tell me-e after all we are.. you know"

"Well, I never had any friends in college. People didn't like me because of my cold attitude moreover, I started dating the most handsome professor in the college which made girls hate me and boys didn't dare to come near me. At first it felt like love, all those small and cute dates, gifts, care everything made me blind to even make a decision. He stopped me from dancing, going out and I was too blinded to even notice. Until, one day he said we should take the next step which is basically to have sex. I didn't argue because I trusted him. But it was not love. Since that day, he became distant, stopped responding to my calls and texts until one day he disappeared like he was never a part of my life..."

"I loved someone too. She was the most beautiful girl for me. She was with me in my good and bad which made me fall for her everyday. I trusted her more than anyone even my hyungs. I refused to believe it when they said a girl can't be this perfect. I knew she was perfect until the day when I came home early to surprise her only to find her on the bed, naked with another man. That day, she broke everything. My trust on people and my ability to love someone..." Taehyung replied with faint smile

"We have a similar kind of wound" I spoke as Taehyung nodded

[Outside my room]

"They are getting along well!" Jimin whispered after listening to the conversation

"I told you they are not dating babe!" Seokjin spoke quietly

"Taehyung is not the type of person to date someone" Yoongi spoke

"Nor is Y/n" Ji-ah replied

"What if they are not in a relationship but together somehow?" Jungkook asked

"You mean..." Hoseok and the other almost yelled

"Friends with benefits!?"

"No! Y/n won't do something like" Ji-ah assured

"Taehyung can fuck girls but not be in such a relationship" Yoongi spoke

"Maybe we should've come a bit earlier to listen to their full conversation" Jimin said

"Exactly! Why did Jungkook notice late that Taehyung is not here!" Ji-ah said

"Yah! At least I told you that V Hyung is not here!" Jungkook whined 

"It's up to them, they are matured enough to take decisions" Namjoon replied while the others nodded in agreement

Why be in a friends with benefits relationship when you know one of you is going to fall for the other?
