Chapter 15- I don't want to loose you now

Taehyung's POV:

Dropping Y/n at the hotel, I drove to the hospital. Reaching the hospital, I started to search for my dad's ward. Walking over to the reception, I asked her about the room number and she helped me. Taking the elevator, I reached the 5th floor. Taking a deep breathe, I stepped in to find my dad on the bed with his managers by his side

"Oh son, you're here" He asked but I didn't reply. I walked up to him and asked the managers to leave and send a doctor. Soon the doctor came.

"Doctor, is everything okay?" I asked straightaway

"Mr. Kim, I won't give you fake hopes. Your dad has cancer, stage 4 actually. Treatment won't work anymore cause there hasn't been any previous treatment. He has 2 months, approximately 3 months" The doctors said and I nodded. The doctor left as I walked up to my dad

"Son-" he was about to touch me but I jerked his hand off

"Why are you so selfish dad!? Don't you care about your health?! All you ever cared was your business, you never cared about me but at least you should've took care of your health!" I yelled making him chuckle which made more annoyed. How can he laugh at times like this?

"I always cared for you son. I love you the most. After your mom passed away, you were my everything" he said with a faint smile

"You have me and you'll leave me soon. But I don't have anyone other than you" I said. Drops of tears rolled down my cheeks

"That's why I want you to get married before I leave..." He said making my eyes go wide

"Dad! Do you even realize what you're talking! I'm not even graduated and what's the point of marrying someone I don't even know or love!" I almost yelled

"I never asked you to marry someone you don't know and love..." he spoke making me look at him with a confused expression

"I'm asking you to marry that girl whom you love and are afraid to loose. I'm not asking for much but take this as my last wish..."

[Time skip: 2 days later; University]

It's been 2 days since I last saw Taehyung. We came back from Jeju island yesterday and here I am, lost in my thoughts during lunch time. I have no idea where is Ji-ah and the others

"Y/n! Y/n! Y/n!" I heard Ji-ah and the 6 other boys calling for me as if I did something

"Calm down! Calm down! What happened!?" I asked Ji-ah and the others who were panting from running for so long

"Taehyung is getting married!" They yelled

"WHAT!?" I yelled back as everyone in the cafeteria flinched

"His dad has stage 4 cancer and it's his kind of last wish, that Taehyung should get married to someone so that he doesn't feel lonely after he's gone" Seokjin explained as I nodded. I think, every story doesn't deserve a happy ending

"Y/n are you okay?" Ji-ah asked as the others looked at me with concern in their eyes

"I'm-m okay" I replied giving a fake smile 

"Y/n, quit lying, you're bad at it. Don't worry, you'll get someone better" Ji-ah said trying to console me. Will I get someone better than him or is he the one? Our talk was interrupted when I heard someone call my name. Looking around, I found Taehyung walking towards us but this time, he was all dressed up. White t-shirt with blue pants, he looked just like a businessman. Walking up towards us, he stood next to me with a smile as if he was unaware that he is getting married 

"Congratulations for getting married" I finally managed to speak trying my best not to cry

"Thank you. You have to come to the wedding" He said with a smile making me confused. What is wrong with him? Did he hit his head somewhere or what?

"Why should I come?" I asked and looked away

"You will have to! There's no wedding without a bride" 

"Yes of course- Wait, WHAT!?" I yelled

"Ah! Stop shouting will you!" He whined

"Ah, sorry, but what are you talking about?" I asked while the other's looked shocked

"What? A wedding isn't happening if there's no bride and if you don't come, then to whom will I get married to?"

"Wait, are you indirectly proposing her?" Jimin asked

"Kind of" He replied with a wink as everyone in the canteen started making 'oh' sound

"Why me?" I asked trying to sound dumb

"Because my dad asked me to marry someone I love. I already told you, you weren't my first in anything, but I want you to be my last in everything" He replied making me blush a little

"So, miss Park Y/n..." he said going down on one knee making my eyes go wide

"Will you be the mother of my 5 future kids?" He said making us laugh a bit

"Is that request or a threat?" I replied making everyone burst out laughing

"Kind of both but Y/n, will you like to spend the rest of your life with me? Will you marry me?" He asked 

"Say yes! Say yes! Say yes!" Everyone started cheering 

"Taehyung, I think you should get up" I spoke softly

"Not until you accept me" He replied pouting 

I looked around to find everyone had happiness on their faces. They expected me to accept him and so did I until my eyes landed on a familiar figure. It was Sun-oh. Looking at me, he mouthed, 'Accept it! Fighting!' making me giggle a bit  

"Yes, I want to spend my rest of life with you. I want to be the mother of your future kids, just one not 5! Yes, I will happily marry you" I replied as everyone started to jump around in happiness. Taehyung hugged me tightly and I hugged him back. 

"I love you so freaking much!" He said and kissed me which was unexpected for me and the others but I gladly kissed him back

"Um, guys, this isn't your bedroom, it's the canteen" Jimin said making us giggle a bit

"I love you more" I said resting my forehead on his 

"Loving you was the second most painful thing. Seeing you with someone else still remains first but I'm not angry or anything. As long you're happy, I'm happy too. Now, I will finally be able to move on. Have a happy married life, Y/n. Let's stay friends..." Sun-oh thought as he smiled hiding his pain and quietly walked away leaving the one he loved because that is best for him

"My dad is going to love you..." Taehyung said giving me a peck on my lips

Maybe, our story deserves a happy ending...?
