Chapter 3

Riley's pov
"RILEY RILEY RILEY RILEY RILEY!" Parker yelled from beside my bed.

"Yes buddy?" I said trying to wake up.

"BREAKFAST!!" He yelled as he pulled the blanket from me.

"Oh Cmon Parker... I'll be there in a second." I said as he ran out of my room and.

The pain in my arm was killing me.

"Fuck..." I whispered.

I got out of bed and did my daily routine.

I went downstairs and saw Parker watching Pokémon in the living room.

I cooked up two eggs and some bacon for him. He sat happily and ate as Daniel came out.

I fed Harley and she ate everything.

"Oh hey Riley." Liam said as he got some coffee.

"Hey... I need to go to work. Can you take care of him?" I asked as he shrugged and nodded.

I ran upstairs throwing on some jeans and a sweatshirt.

I grabbed my keys and ran out the door cause I knew so was late.

I ran out the door as I was passing I saw Anna with Eva on the porch of Anna's house.

I didn't think anything of it just drove off.

"Your late..." William said as I rolled my eyes.

"I woke up late." I said as I got a customer's order in.

I worked at Starbucks which gave me quite good money for myself.

Daniel and Liam went on business trips most of the time so they made quite the money.

Me and William were talking while getting drinks for the people who ordered.

"I'd like to get a mocha frappe?" A familiar voice asked.

I looked up to see Eva and Anna with some other girl.

"Oh Riley! Hey." Eva said as I smiled.

I went and grabbed their drinks as I gave it to them.

"I didn't know you work here. Why haven't I seen you?" Anna asked as I chuckled.

"I don't work a lot. I take care of Parker." I said and she nodded.

"So you come here often?" I asked.

"Mhmm." She said.

"ANNA! COME ON!" A girl yelled.

"Well looks like I gotta go. I'll see you later Riley." Anna said waving me goodbye as she walked out the door.

"Sooo whos the new love interest?" William asked.

"Shut up. She's not my love interest." I said playfully hitting him.

"Plus I'm not planning on dating. Pfft... she's a player I'm not dating someone who's gonna break my heart like I was a useless toy." I said as he rolled his eyes.

Anna's POV
As Emma yelled out for my name pulling me away from Riley I gave her a slight smirk.

I waved goodbye and walked out.

"Okay you and that Riley girl..." Eva said as Emma's eyes widen opened.

"NO WAY ANNA HAS A CRUSH?" Emma asked.
