Riley's pov
"Hey dumbass." I said on the field towards Anna.

"Did you just call me a dumbass?" She asked me and I laughed.

"Right after I gave you head?" She whispered making me punch her hard in the stomach.

"Ow!" She yelled.

She glared at me making me run for it.

"Get back here!!" She yelled picking me up over her shoulder.

"Wait Wait no! Put me down!" I yelled as she just laughed at me.

I struggled to get out of her grasp making her fall out of balance.

We both landed on the floor as she landed on top of me making me groan.

"Fuck Anna." I said feeling the pain in my abdomen.

"My bad." She said

She didn't move though she just put her head in the crook of my neck.

"You know this is nice." She said in my neck.

"Yeah but Anna Your laying in the worse spot possible." I said as she looked at me.

"Oh shit my bad." She said getting up.

She helped get up but we turned to see the team looking at us.

"Oh fuck..." I mumbled.

"You didn't tell us you were dating..." Layla spoke up making me look at her.

"We are not dating... I just fell on her." Anna said.

"Uh huh. Like we all believe that." Jade said making me roll my eyes.

I picked up the soccer ball and kicked it at Anna's head trying to change the subject.

"You wanna die today?!" She yelled.

I only could laugh at the image of Anna getting hit in the head by the soccer ball.

The entire team was laughing and Anna looked at me.

"I'm gonna tell Coach to bench you." She said.

"Oh please. You wouldn't last a minute out there without me." I said.

"She's not wrong. We'd be destroyed since there were those new players on the teams." Angela said.

"Fine." Anna said rolling her eyes.

"Deal with it Shumate. I'm gonna be the pain in the ass just for you." I said walking away and into the locker room.

I heard Anna behind me closing the door.

"Woah we are not doing it in here!" I yelled.

She put her mouth over my hand and pushed me to the lockers.

"What are we?" She asked me softly taking her hand away.

"What?" I asked her.

"What... are we? I'm just curious. What do you think of me as?" She asked me.

"A friend..?" I asked and she looked at me softly.

"I mean... maybe in reality I could see us together but... not now." I mumbled.

"That's okay... I can wait for you." She whispered making me look up at her.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.
