Chapter 48

Riley's pov
Me and Anna sat in the interrogation room for awhile. They gave us a burger for lunch.

I didn't eat much so Anna ate mine while I laid in her lap.

"You feel better now?" She asked me and I nodded.

She got done with her food and laid down.

She pulled me on top of her and made me put my head in her neck.

We stayed like this for half an hour when someone opened the door.

"Miss... We'd would want you to know we caught them..." he said and my eyes widened.

I got off of Anna and went up the man.

"Would you like to see them?" He asked me and I nodded.

He led me to Liam and Daniel as they stood there in handcuffs.

"We're innocent!! Riley you have to trust us! We're innocent id never hurt your parents." Liam said trying to get closer to me.

I felt a hand on my waist as Liam looked at me. Anna was on my side.

"Just like last time you met..." Liam whispered.

"What?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"Please you have to listen to us. We didn't do it." He said and I shook my head no.

"Why did you do it?" I asked him and he gave up.

"Betrayal never comes from the enemy. That's what this family ever is!" He yelled at me.

"Every person in this Goddamn family is bad whether you choose not to. Your gonna break one day... go rogue and kill at some point." He said.

"Parker will be the next one after you." Daniel said.

"No! He won't!" I yelled.

"It's in your blood..." he said and I shook my head no.

"Blood or not! I'm never gonna be the person to kill!" I yelled back.

"Something is obviously holding you back." Daniel said.

"I have a life! You guys don't because all you ever do is kill your own goddamn family!" I yelled as I felt myself starting to panic a little.

"We had lives too!" Daniel yelled.

"You think I wanted to be this way?! I hated killing! But it's all our family ever fucking did!" Liam yelled out.

"Than why?! Why couldn't you stop this?! Be the person you chose!" I yelled.

"I'm ending this stupid tradition." I said.

He stayed quiet... both of them did.

"What do you have to say for yourself." I mumbled.

"I wish you died too." He said locking his jaw up.

Before he could say anything he was taken away.

"Hey you okay?" Anna asked me making her presence.

"Yeah whatever I'm fine..." I mumbled hugging her.

She hugged me tight.

"Miss... very sorry for you lost thank you for all the help you gave us. Unfortunately your gonna have to go to court with us." He said and I nodded.

"Your welcome to go home..." he said and I nodded.

"Call us if you need anything." He said giving me a card.

Me and Anna drove back home as I was entirely exhausted.

"Cmon we can go inside clean up and just hang for the rest of the day... take it easy." She said and I nodded.

I was quiet for the rest of the way nearly falling asleep at some point of the ride.

"Hey wake up." Anna said.

"My house or yours?" She asked me getting out.

"Mine..." I mumbled.

we walked inside and I immediately went to my room as Anna followed me.

"Hey wait..." she said pulling things off my bed.

She pulled me over and laid me down as she laid next to me.she pulled me closer to her as she laid my head against her chest while playing with my hair. After that I fell asleep.

Alexis's Pov

Lance
Check the news

Lance had texted me and I immediately turned the tv on to see photos of two men being arrested.

"Liam Sawyer and Daniel Sawyer arrested for the murder of 5 people." The man said on the tv.

"Mark Sawyers. Delilah Sawyers. Elliott Sawyers. Haven Sawyers and Jack Sawyers." The man said.

"Riley Sawyers daughter of Delilah and Mark Sawyers founded with only a burning house and a stabbed wound." The tv said.

"Riley?" I heard has Parker came down.

Delilah Sawyers and Mark Sawyers went down with the house in the first round. After assuming it was a mistake the next house in the neighbor was burned down by Brady and Mary Sawyers." The reporter said. 

"The victims were Parker Sawyers and Riley Sawyers." It said.

Parker stared at me has tears filled his eyes.

He ran back up to his room after finding the news.

"Parker!" I yelled out of his room but he didn't open the door.

"Stay with him." I told Lance grabbing my keys and running to my car.

I drove by Riley's home to see her laying in bed.

"Cmon." I said pulling her out of bed.

"Alexis! Stop!" She yelled pulling her hand away.

"Your brother needs you right now. I texted you!" I yelled.

She grabbed a sweatshirt before getting in the car.
