Chapter 5

Riley's pov
I didn't sleep any last night. Which I was not surprised.

I haven't gotten a lot of sleep since that day.

I saw Anna and her friends hop in the car but me and Harley were in the trunk of my car.

I could feel myself drift before I even knew it I was out.

"PARKER?!" I yelled out.

I could see him in the house.

"PARKER!" I yelled trying to run after him.

Someone held me back and the house collapsed crushing Parker.

"Fuck." I said waking up.

I could feel licks in my face as I woke up to Harley.

She realized I was having a dream and was trying to wake me up but I guess I was just to invested in the dream.

I looked and Anna seemed to be back.

I guess I fell asleep during her arrival.

I got up closing the trunk and looking at the time.

"Holy shit 2 hours?" I whispered.

Harley was still checking on me. I looked at a car who was driving by and it was my ex Dominic. The guy was winking at me.

It caused Harley to start barking.

"Harley stop." I said and she obeyed.

I didn't give any looks back I just raced in the house with Harley.

I checked to see Parker still sleeping so I woke him up.

I walked downstairs getting me a drink as he came down.

"Hey Parker what are we gonna do today?" I asked him as he looked at me.

"Can we play soccer?" He asked and I looked up with surprised.

"Soccer? Why?" I asked.

"Because you always seem to play it. I wanna play too!" He said and I smiled.

"Go get your shoes I'll get the soccer ball." I said and he excitedly jumped out of his seat.

I grabbed my duffel bags and my cleats putting them in the trunk.

I caught an eye of Emma and Eva looking out the window which was weird.

I whistle for Harley and she came.

I threw my hair up in a low pony as I saw Parker come.

"Okay wait you wanna walk or drive?" I asked.

"Let's go on a walk!!" He yelled as I smiled.

I grabbed the bags from my trunk closing it.

"Harley!" I yelled and she followed Parker.

"Here take this." I said giving him his water bottle as we walked.

We both walked as we reached to the soccer field he sprinted.

For a boy who's 6 he's really fast.

"Okay here take this." I said giving him the soccer ball.

I put my cleats on as Harley was sitting by my side.

"Hey girl." I said giving her a head scratch.

I got up and Harley followed me to Parker as he was throwing the ball in the air.

"Okay here set it on the ground and kick it." I said and he did.
