Chapter 31

Alexis Pov
"Yo wake up." I heard seeing Lance shaking me.

I looked over to see Riley still sleeping.

"Riley... wake up." I whispered shaking her awake.

"Rileyyy... don't make me pour water on you." I said groaning awake.

"Go away." She mumbled.

That's when it all hit me last night.

"Riley?" I asked.

"What." She said.

"Do you... remember anything last night?" I asked her and she turned over.

"No not really. Did I do something?" She asked in a panic away.

"No... noo you didn't. You were just drunk as hell." I said trying to laugh it off.

I know it's a bad idea to not tell her what happened but ever so recently she's been not caring anymore and barely getting sleep.

I know if I tell her she's gonna go down.

"Shit. I have work." She mumbled getting up.

She must have stood up a little to fast because she fell back onto the bed and rested her head.

"Why don't you take off work today?" I asked her.

"No I have to pick up Parker from Dallas's house and I promised him to get ice cream." She said and I nodded slightly.

"Let me come with you." I said.

"You don't have to." She said and I shook my head.

"No its okay." I said getting her up.

She let me borrow some of her clothes while she packed work clothes.

She normally just wears a sleeveless shirt over her sports bra with shorts since she works on cars and outside in the hotness.

"Can you take Parker out for the day and then bring me home?" She asked me and I nodded.

Anna's POV
"ANNA! WAKE YOUR ASS UP!!" Emma yelled at the top of the stairs heading for my room.

"Noooo! Go away!!" I yelled.

Before I knew it I was being pulled out of the bed making me land on the floor.

I landed with a thud and groaned at the pain.

"Cmon! We're going to get Starbucks!!" Emma yelled and I got up rolling my eyes.

"I need to get my oil and tires changed today." I mumbled.

"THAN LETS GO!" She yelled pushing me into my closet.

I had a bad hangover and it was painful.

I put on sweatpants and a shirt and put my hair in a messy bun before leaving the house.

Me and Emma drove to the nearest auto repair. It was a small one but was rated one of the best.

I drove up to see a couple of people and I got out of the car.

"I need my tires changed out... color repainted and oil changed?" I asked them.

"Sounds like a Sawyer job. SAWYER!" He yelled.

I looked over to the door to see Riley in a tanktop and shorts.

"What." She said.

"Girl needs her car repainted. Oil and tires changed." The guy said.

"What color?" She asked me.

"Umm just black is fine." I said and she nodded.

She didn't even look up at me once. Hasn't recognized my voice yet.

"Sooo... that will be... 1,659.89 dollars." She said finally looking up and seeing me.

"Holy shit..." I whispered.

"Umm... okay then I can get my car repainted later." I said.

"681$" she said.

That was still to much. I barely had 500 in my account.

"Well... if you can help her around maybe she can help pay you off." The guy said behind me.

"Help her around?" I asked him.

"Yeah. We allow people to help us around with their own car. If you want to help me with your car it'll decrease the money amount." She said.

"Umm..." I whispered.

"She'll do it!" I heard seeing Emma by my side.

"But you need a ride" I muttered.

"I can help out to? Will that lower the money more?" She asked riley.

"Depends how much you do." Riley said turning around.

I realized her leg brace was covering something up.

Looking a little closer it was a brand new tattoo she had.

She walked into another room while another guy led us.

"I need the keys to your car ma'am." A guy said as I tossed him the keys.

"Bring it on over to Riley's station!" The guy helping us yelled.

"OH THIS IS SO EXCITING! YOU GET TO SPEND TIME WITH HER!" Emma whispered loudly and excited.

"Yeah do you see the problem?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"ITS WITH HER! ON HER JOB! Oh good I'm gonna mess this up." I whispered loudly.

"You'll be fine." Emma said as the guy guided us to Riley.
