3rd Person

Clarke, behind a tree, examines the trap she had set up not far from her hiding spot. This trap was to incarcerate a bunny or another little, timid creature to fall into, all to attract a much larger prey. Her mission wasn't easy. Survival wasn't easy. But this isn't just about surviving.

Clarke, still squatting, makes peace with her subconscious thoughts due to boredom. A merely distinct crackling sound had been struck amongst the pile of leaves. She peers herself around the trunk, holding a somewhat steak knife against her palm and the solid earth beneath her, only to witness a large black panther preparing for a meal. Yes, this was smart. But no, she didn't come up with this idea with pure imagination. Befriending the commander has it's perks.

The panther's blush, but vicious eyes are fixated on the rabbit. Meanwhile, Clarke pounces from behind, making sudden contact with the mammal. Not only is she winded, but she is left to fend for herself with a knife which isn't primarily used in defence.

Detaching from one another, the two of them make eye contact. Her knife is subconsciously brought to her chest, aiming toward this animal which stood right upon her. After a few seconds of silence and lack of movement, the animal makes it's second pounce, except this time, the knife was penetrated through it's torso.

Clarke lies there. Her eyes shut, hoping that her fate, Wanheda's fate, wasn't being devoured. However, reality kicks in and she couldn't feel anything but weight. It's like an abnormally heavy blanket flattened her to the ground. She opens her eyes, manhandling this large creature off of her. This would not only increase her rate of survival, but it made her stronger within. After all, it was still an animal. A living animal which she killed. Part of her felt more remorse for the panther than level 5 of Mount Weather.

She whispers, "Yu gonplei ste odon." as she chucked her knife to the side.
