Clarke stands and walks out to join Lexa on the balcony.

"I won't force you to Clarke, but I do think it's the best thing to do." she says sighing trying not to have too much eye contact

"I understand"

"No just think about it, if we could turn this around on her we could have a better advantage. I already know from back at TonDC how good you are with knifes and arrows but if we set the challenge on our terms, to have it in a week to prepare I could help you train. I know all of her weaknesses and soft spots, I could teach you how to use a sword."

Clarke listens to Lexa's words and thinks about how she promised to give her time but she figured she's had enough time and realises she is starting to forgive Lexa day by day.

"It's up to you Clarke. You could train and have a chance of ridding this world of that monster for ever or turn away the deal and still be in danger of Nia at all times."

Clarke hears her out and is about to agree when she wonders if Lexa just wants her to fight her for revenge for Costia's death, and so she questions

"Are you wanting me to fight her because of what she did to Costia?"

"What? No. I would never Clarke. Yes, I do want her to pay for what she did and feel some of the pain I felt but I want you to do this to keep you safe, and so you don't have to live in fear everyday of your life?"

By this point she forgot the whole no eye contact thing and they were staring right into each other. Lexa felt nervous but Clarke was searching to see of any signs of her lying. But all she found was the truth. She could tell Lexa meant it and does really want to help her. And so she agrees

"Ok, I'll do it. Lets go in and tell Nia the terms."

Lexa nods and that's what they go and do. They tell Queen Nia the terms and she agrees

After Nia turns around and walks out Lexa comes up to Clarke and whispers

"Training starts tomorrow"
