School trip - part 1

Cheryl POV

"I can't wait to go on the school trip babe, can't you?" I asked nudging onto her while we were sitting in the student lounge "two more weeks!"

"Cher, I'm not coming," She mumbled scooting away from me looking the opposite way, I put one of my hands on her laps and one of them on her cheeks and turned her head to face me

"Why mon trésor?"

"I can't afford it, it's not a big deal really babe, it'll be good for you to get away, I'm probably driving you crazy or annoying you off anyways."
"I could never be tired by you babe, and if you don't go I won't go!"

"No babe please go, for me?" She begged giving me puppy dog eyes, I rolled my eyes and laughed as I kissed her cheek the bell rang to go to class, I went to stop and talk to Mr. Weatherbee about Toni and her situation. Toni and I have been dating for three months and I couldn't get enough of her, this trip would be a great bonding opportunity for us, I love her of course I havant told her since I don't think she feels the same as I do...

"Mr. Weatherbee, I have the payment fee for Antoinette Topaz right here!" I placed down a check written out to the school "three hundred and fifty dollars."

'Why this is quiet timely indeed, the deadline is by the end of the day. The only problem, is she does not have a guardian signature."

"Mr. Weatherbee may I kindly remind you Toni doesn't have a legal guardian."

"Very well. She may come on the trip."

I thanked him, and walked out of the office to go fid Toni in the only place I knew she would be. The red room. Where she develops the photos she takes.

"Why hello, cutie," I grinned leaning against the door frame she turns around and looks at me instantly her face turns into a soft smile, she goes up to kiss my cheek.

"Babe what are you doing here?" She smirks holding onto my hips

"Well I have some good news," I kiss her lips

"Mmm?"

"Mhm, start packing you are officially coming on the trip."

She drops her hands and steps back from me looking at me in shock.

"What how?"

"I reminded Weatherbee you don't have a legal guardian and well I dipped into my dads blood money and gave him the three hundred and fifty dollars."

"Cheryl, I don't have that kind of money to pay you back."
"No don't pay me back. Consider it a 'Just because' gift."

"I didn't ask for this. Im not some kind of charity case for you. Everyone said it was about time till you show off your money and act like you are better than me, and use me as something to make yourself feel better about. But I didn't think it would be so soon."

"W-what? Toni, what are you talking about? You're not a charity case you're my girlfriend."

"Mhm keep telling yourself that," she gets up and pushes me out of the way with her shoulder.

"Toni wait," I cried grabbing her arm before she looks at me and yanks her arm out of my grasp

"Leave me the fuck alone," she spits and walks off

Just like that she never texted or called me again for the whole week, she wouldn't sit near me and would just look at me then look away when I smiled, she ignored me in the halls and online. She even removed me from her profile picture off of Instagram.
