The reunion

Tonis pov

It's been eight years since she and I broke up. My high school sweetheart and I had separated. I barely think about her fiery red hair, her white smile, her crimson red lips, her glossy long white legs, her ass, and her boobs. Yup, I never think about her. I mean, she had moved on, and I had to, right? I'm a photographer, and I also write for the New Yorke times; I'm dating an amazing man, he is a big shot famous author, Jack Fredrick the third. Life is good, is solid. That's the thing, in Riverdale, everything was so complicated and tense; I am glad I let that side of me go; I haven't told or spoken about it to Jack. As I was busy writing away, I got an email from Riverdale High school. I clicked on it and saw I was invited to our high school reunion. RSVP was due in three days; I sighed and tried to click out of the email.

"We should go, babe," I spun around to see Jack standing behind me, smiling.

"And why's that?"

"I know nothing about your past, and I want to see who you would grow up with, and who that redhead is, she's in every photo you have, with those two boys. You all seemed very close, so can we please go," He pegged.

"Okay, for you, but we are going home straight after, its next week, so clear your schedule because you and I are going on a mini-vacation, and I will show you around," I smiled, leaning to kiss him.

One week later

"Toni Topaz?" A familiar voice called from behind me. I spun around and saw a raven head behind me smiling, looking flawless as ever; she wore a short dark purple dress, with a black belt, purls surrounded her neck as her head was pin straight.

"Veronica Lodge," I smiled as we went to hug each other, "How are you?"

"I'm doing good! Have you seen Archie here?" She asked, looking around.

"No, I have not. But I will keep an eye out for you, oh and this is my boyfriend Jack," I smiled, holding his arm as I nuzzled my head onto his arm; Veronica looked at me and raised a brow, she shook his hand and left, to continue to look for Archie, guess they are still on and off.

"I'm kind of thirsty; I am going to go get a drink, you stay here," I kissed his cheek and left to find the punch bowl; as I poured it, I turned around a bumped into someone causing me to spill my drink.

"Oh my god, Im so sorry-" I looked up to see Cheryl Looking at me, shocked. Fuck me. She looked beautiful as ever; her hair was still curled, her iconic red lipstick was gone and replaced with a lip gloss, her outfit was still red. If we were in high school, she would have been dress-coded.

"It's fine; Im going to go to the washroom to clean up."

"I'll come." Why did I say that? I looked at her, and she seemed pretty shocked too, she nodded, and we continued to walk in complete silence.

"So, how have you been?" I asked

"I've been fine; how about you?"

"You're married?" I asked, looking at the big rock on her hand; good for her.

"Nearly, in two weeks," she sighed.

"aren't you happy about that?'

"I mean-"

"Cheryl! There you are. I've been looking all over for you," a girl stormed into the bathroom, not acknowledging me. She placed her hand on Cheryl, and she flinched a little. "Why did you leave me?"

"I was thirsty; I'm sorry."

"Whatever comes on, let us go," she dragged her out of the bathroom; I just stared at the whole thing; she looked back at me as she was being dragged out with a small smile. I followed behind shortly to see them in the gym, smiling and holding hands. I walked up to them, seeing they were with Betty, Veronica, Jughead and Archie; I joined the circle, curious to hear what they were talking about.
